Penny Black Saturday Challenge - White on White

Hiya everyone. oops looks like I am a little late again ... I must stop going out on a Friday night, lol. It is Saturday so time to join us all at Penny Black for a great challenge ....

WHITE ON WHITE

Now deep breaths and don't panic .... this is actually a brilliant theme as I found out. I loved it once I got started and think I may use this for a lot of my christmas cards this year.

The cuttlebug was put into action with a couple of embossing folders - how quick and easy! A nice simple image and a bit of stickles and hey presto ... job done!

I have also added a bit of cosmic shimmer to my flowers, I love this and think I will be getting lots of lovely shades next week at the NEC (eeek only 7 days to go ... woohoo!!!!)

Thought I would leave you with a scary pic of me from last night. Popped into The Living Room (my fave bar) with hubby for a nice drinkie or two and bumped into Julie - a lady that I work with and her partner. Needless to say we ended up having a fair few drinks and a fabulous night out - aren't those the best type of nights :o)
Challenges
Creative Card Crew - Snowflakes
Charisma Cardz - No backing papers
Colour Create - All White
Okidoki, need a nice cuppa now so have a great weekend whatever you do xxx

Just Magnolia - Monochromatic

Woohoo, it is Friday again and time to play along with us all at Just Magnolia . Thankyou for all taking part last week, I really enjoyed popping over to see lots of your lovely creations. This week we would like to see you make something that is ...

MONOCHROMATIC

Don't worry, you can use white in your creations like many of the DT have. Just pick your favourite colour and then use lots of shades of that colour to make your card. I have used lilacs .... I just adore purple so much, deffo my fave colour in crafting ... or is it, lol.

I had a slight emergency .... my E00 ran out whilst colouring little Tilda but some ink is on its way to me so she will have a little touch up when it arrives .... my first pen to run out ... scary! I have used some more of these pretty snowflakes that I found at the range, I really do like them.

A little look from a different angle to see the different layers. I followed the sketch over on Sketch and Stash ... my new stash this week are my snowflakes - expect to see more of these over the next few weeks! I have also decided to enter my card in this weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge which is 'All that Sparkles' and also Creative Card Crew which is snowflakes.
I hope you all get chance to play along. Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog for details of this weeks sponsor and also to feast your eyes on the other DT's amazing creations

Pink Gem Designs GDT Card / GD Call plus win 6 stamps!

Hello again, here I am - you can tell it is Wednesday, lol .... a bit more free time to get on the computer (and in my craft room!). I thought I would share this little beauty with you all.

This wonderful image is Max and snowman and is, of course, available from Pink Gem designs.

I have coloured him with my copics and added some stickles here and there for a little sparkle .... loving all this bling at this time of year! The large snowflake was cut using my cuttlebug die and the small silver one is from a bag of mixed snowflakes that I found in The Range.

Now for a bit of news...... how would you like to win 6 Pink Gem stamps of your choice?? I bet you all would. Even better, how would you like to win the chance of becoming Guest Designer. All you need to do is pop on over to Janet's blog for full details ..... good luck!

Challenges
Creative Card Crew - Snowflakes

La-La Land - Ribbons

Good morning and woohoo we are half way through the week. Wednesdays mean a new challenge on La-La Land and for me it is my last week with them. I have had a lovely time designing for them and would like to thank Irina for her friendship. It is a great challenge to finish with ....

RIBBONS

I have used one of the first stamps I got, Birthday Lala and she is available from the online store by following the link. I love this sparkly ribbon but only have a little bit left now, it is just so girly. I decided to carry the bling through to my flowers and added heaps of glamour dust to the petals - will definately do this again, I love the effect. Dragged my fave MM papers out too - I adore these so much!

My card fits in with a couple of challenges too ....

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 75 ... I have rotated this fab sketch
Simon Says Stamp - All that sparkles

Have a really lovely day ... will be back later with another card .... love Wednesdays xxx

GD Card for A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Good morning, how is your week so far? Mine has been ok - glad to have a day off after an amazingly busy day yesterday ... didn't get home til almost 11pm! I am delighted to show my card to you all today because I have been invited to be Guest Designer for the week with A Spoonfull of Sugar . You should have seen the grin on my face when I got my email ...... happy is an understatement!

The theme of this weeks challenge is kitchen / cooking so I just know you will all have lots of gorgeous images you can use for this one :o)
I have used the fab stamps from the Magnolia Fall kit but you can buy these individually know (Tracy at DTDF has a fabulous selection). The scrummy papers are also Magnolia and are really nice to work with.

I have followed this weeks sketch on Truly Scrumptious - I do love a good sketch, lol. I enjoyed making a card with nice soft colours again .... could this be the end of my bright, bold colours .... I doubt it very much, lol.
Thankyou once again to Nikki and all the girls over at ASFOS - I really enjoyed being part of your team for the week!
Have a fab day xxx

Anyone for Anya - A sketch

What a blustery day it is here in North Yorkshire but the sun is shining so it will do for me. I hope you have all remembered to put your clocks back. Somehow I didn't benefit from the extra hout ... I decided to wait up for hubby to come home from work and then got a call at 2am saying he was going to be another hour .... I am now shattered - serves me right!

We have a great challenge this week for you on Anyone for Anya and it is a sketch by our lovely (but ever so slightly mad) Dawny P!! Don't forget to visit our blog to see the wonderful prize by our sponsor this week ... De Hobbykamer

I thought I would let Anya have a little sleep and dragged Skater Ian out to play instead. I dug out these old papers by Papermania - always perfect for male cards and bingo - job done!!

Other challenges
Secret Crafter - Orange + 1 other colour
Off for a cuppa now and then a bit of old colouring is the order of the day I think. Enjoy the rest of your day xxx

Just Magnolia - Martine's sketch

Oh boy here I am at last, what on earth has Mr Blogger been up to???? I couldn't get onto any blogs this morning at all and thought the worst had happened but phew, everything seems to be back up and running again. So here is a very rushed post for Just Magnolia this week (all links in later due to hubby having IE8 on his computer)!!! We have a sketch this week by our lovely Martine (not Mina as my header says - oh dear, I think I need help, lol).

I had a great time following this sketch, it is just gorgeous to work with and I will certainly use this one again!

I have finally got round to using my snowflake embossing folder and I love it! Works great with this shimmery bazill card stock :o) Also had my cosmic shimmer out again and spritzed my flowers and ribbon ... so pretty.

Told you it was quick!!! Got to dash back to work now. Just want to say big congrats to my mate Dawny P who will be joining us as guest DT for the next 4 weeks - woohoo babe, so pleased you will be joining us :o)

Lili of the Valley - My sketch!

Good morning everyone and are you ready for another challenge with us all on Lili of the Valley . I am a litle nervous todaybecause it is a sketch challenge this week. As you know I love sketches but this time it is MY SKETCH .... eek, this is my very first sketch I have ever done so please be nice, lol.

I have tried to keep the sketch nice and simple with just a couple of layers to play with. I have used another of the fabulous new stamps which will be launched at the NEC in a couple of weeks (I think these babies are going to fly off the shelves!). I have used a little beauty called A Big Bouquet from the Fairy range and I think you will agree she is beautiful. I wanted to use soft colours for this card so I have used a mixture of papers detailed below.

Aaahhh, I am in love again - I think I am the luckiest person right now being able to play with these beauties. Remember to visit the challenge blog for lots more sneak peeks of the new stamps (lots of the boys stamps this week on show). We will be announcing our new GDT member tomorrow on the challenge blog so make sure you pay us a visit ..... it might be you!
Have a wonderful day and I hope you get chance to play along with us this challenge :o)

Dies To Die For DT Card / Support Our Soldiers

Good afternoon, yep here I am again, just like a bad penny hahahaha. Well it is raining here so I have had a little play up in my craft room and come up with this spooktastic card. I have made this with lots of yummy goodies sent by the gorgeous Tracy at Dies To Die For in my most recent DT kit. Oooh she has so many yummy papers in right now and you can check them out here . Not onlt that but there are some mega cute stamps perfect for Halloween so be sure to have a good old browse!

Ok, so what have I used on my card .... well let's start with the image. How cute is this witch - she is so sweet. The stamp is from the new PCS Ittybitty Halloween stamp set and is a real bargain at less than £10 for 6 image stamps plus sentiment stamps too!!!! Now you really can't afford to say no can you, lol! The fab papers are also new and are by MME Spiders Web Collection . These are great because they are double sided which means you can still use them after Halloween because they have a 'normal' design on the other side - too clever!

I am entering my card for a few challenges too .....

Cupcake Craft Challenge - Bump in the night
Kaboodle Doodles - Spooky theme
Stamp with Fun - Halloween
Delightful Sketches - Sketch #9
Cute Card Thursday - Spook Fest!
One Stop Craft Challenge - Halloween
Stamptacular - Spooktacular
Pile It On - Ready for Halloween

Phew, not bad from one little card! Just a little mention that the ribbon, 'boo' and flowers are from this months subscription kit from Crafty Feeling .

My lovely friend Michelle asked me if I would give a mention on my blog about what she is doing. How could I say no when I found out she is collecting cards to send out to the troops in Afghanistan. You can read all about it HERE and find out how to donate your cards - thankyou so much for taking the time to read this :o)

La-La Land - Sparkle

God morning and here we are half way through the week again - where does the time go? Wednesdays always mean it is time for a brand new challenge with us all at La-La Land and we would love to see some SPARKLE on your cards this week - nice and easy for you all!

Anyone for Anya

Good morning ... sssssssssssshhhhhhh you need to keep the noise down a little because it was a very late night in the bar last night here in good old London town! The band did ever so well and finished 6th which is such a great result. So it will probably be a quiet trip back up to Yorkshire on the coach as we all catch up with our beauty sleep :o)
Onto this weeks challenge on Anyone for Anya and we would love to see ....

AUTUMN COLOURS

I have used my gorgeous new Laundry Anya from Dies to Die For and I love her. Isn't she so sweet - poor little thing looks so fed up! I should have brought her with me this weekend to have a little fun, lol. I have followed the sketch from this weeks Spoonfull of Sugar which is a beauty!

I will add all the details later when I get home - I am just impressed I have managed to get my post done this morning!! I have ended up paying silly money for connection in my hotel after being ripped off good and proper by BT Openhub - they shall be getting rather a firm email from me when I get home - I am not impressed with their robbing service at all!!!!! Hey ho! No rest for the wicked today - when we get home we have a couple of hourse tp relax then we are heading off to Xscape where Ryan and his 'singing' band are headlining at The Loft - so if you are in the area pop along :o)
Byeeeeeeeeeeee x
