PRETTY POSY - New release from LOTV

Hi everyone. Today I thought I would share one of the new digis from the latest release from Lili of the Valley. This is from the Mothers' Day and Spring release - there are some really gorgeous images and sentiments so do pop over and have a look.

This cutie is called Pretty Posy and I have coloured her with my copic markers. I have merged the sentiment (a new skill for me) and I am really pleased with the result. It's great being able to resize images and I cannot wait to experiment more with my new skill.

Everything is from my stash so I am not sure if it is still available or not but the papers are My Minds Eye/Miss Caroline - Howdy Doody 6x6 pad. I edged my white card stock with stickles because I need sparkle on all my cards lol.

Papertake Weekly ...... and a thankyou to Mo!

Hi everyone, ooh isn't the weather beautiful Not a cloud in the sky and it is warm .... yes WARM!!
Not long now until mummy's day so we would love it if you could join us on Papertake Weekly by making a mothers day card ... or just a girly card if you do not have a mummy to make one for :-(

My image is by the uber talented Mo Manning who kindly offered it for only $1 for the first 1000 purchases - all the money went to help with the Japanese disaster. You can still buy What's cookin' but it is now back at the full price of $3 (still a bargain) but the charity donation has finished. Thankyou for donating all that cash Mo!!!!

I have used 'those papers' again, I just love MME and you can buy them from Tracy at Dies to die For ... scrummy or what!

Flowers and lace from Wild Orchid Crafts - I am just loving lace at the moment, so very pretty.

Just Magnolia - In the Garden

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good week. I amglad it is Friday - had a hectic week. We went to an open day yesterday at Huddersfield University- one of the uni's my son is considering. It was certainly a useful day. I can hardly believe he nearly old enough for uni, where does the time go?????

Onto our challenge on Just Magnolia and I would like to welcome Mindy to the DT - we all just love her creations so please pop over and say hi.

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts - THE place to buy all your roses, I swear they have an amazing range of sizes, styles and colours. They also stock lots of other scrummy embellies. You must check out the brilliant prize they have sponsored for this weeks challenge!

Sketch Saturday - GD Card

Good morning and I am hoping this post is on my blog because I have scheduled it. Right now I should be on my way to Taunton to drop my son off for the week at the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain. My husband and I will then turn right back around and drive home - a round trip of around 9-10 hours. My poor husband has then got to head straight off to work until 2am poor soul, I do hope he isn't kept back late because he will be ready for his bed!

Anyway, I am so excited to share the fab news that I have been invited to be Guest Designer for Sketch Saturday for the whole of April. I love taking part with their sketches as often as I can and didn't even hesitate to accept the wonderful offer from them. Thankyou Terry for asking me :o)

Well, how lovely is this sweet Belles and Whistle stamp, I adore all Elizabeth Bell's work and this is no exception, such a pleasure to colour. Of course I have mentioned these delish papers already so make sure you check them out before I buy them all!!! Think I have a new addiction coming on, oh dear!! The flowers are from my stash and I think the large one was from Poppicrafts which I bought many moons ago - I livened it up a bit by punching the petal edges with my beloved MS Doily Lace Punch ... nice little touch I thought. Craftworks sentiment again and my papermania mosaic gems (am I so predictable, lol). The sparkly icing on the cupcake is from my lovely Spica pen that Tracy sent me (remember to store these flat ... as I found out!).
Expect to see these papers later in the week .... told you I was addicted. Have a lovely evening xxx
