Crafting just for fun!

Good afternoon folks. Well it is official – I am losing my marbles!!!! I got up at 5am today for work and arrived for the start of my shift at 7am. Well I would be starting my shift if I was supposed to be at work ….  yep I wasn’t due back until tomorrow… groan! Not to worry, I headed for the drive back home kicking myself for not checking my diary.

I decided to stay up and cracked on with a couple of DT cards and then I thought I should try something different. Woohoo, I made a card just for the fun of it and wow, I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!

I have had this lovely image from Saturated Canary coloured for a few weeks now and just haven’t had chance to make her up into a card. I am so happy to finally be able to take part in the Saturated Canary challenge because I just adore Krista’s images. Also this week Krista is donating $1 for every entry to a very special cause – you can read all about it on the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog

I used my Spectrum Noir pens to

colour with and I am really pleased with it. I really love the flesh tones of the Speccies. It is first time out for my new leaf die too by Memory Box ….. I think I will be using my Tiny Tendril die a lot in the future, it is such a lovely size.

I am thinking about doing a little colouring session now ready for my next day off blunder lol, it is really nice being able to just create for fun. Here are a couple of challenges that I am entering ….

Simon Says … Let’s play BINGO!

Good afternoon, mid week again and hopefully I am fast asleep. I am half way through my nights and finish this set on Friday morning. I then have a week off which is the great side of shift work.

So hopefully Mr Blogger is behaving and you can now see my card for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. We have a fabulous Bingo board for you all to follow so make sure you join in this week. The design team are all using Memory Box products – woop woop because I just LURVE these!!!

So here is my rather super cute and just all together way too pretty Belles n Whistles stamp coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens I swear the more I use these pens the more I use them. I really love this blue/green colour combo.

I have stamped around the edge of my image with a lovely swirl stamp (it is an Inkadinkado mini)that I have only just inked up. I am just shocking at not using my stash – I am really trying to use more of what I have ….. I bet you are all as bad.

I am really happy with the buckle die under the flowers at the top right of my card and will certainly be using this again. I am now thinking that I need to buy a snowflake die similar to this for my christmas cards!

Simon Says … Anything Goes

Good afternoon ….. I am scheduling my post because I am at work so I am hoping Mr Blogger is behaving and that this is now up on my blog. Half way through the week already and what a gorgeous week it is. I just have today and tomorrow to work and then I get 10 days off. I am hoping to get lots done whilst I am off so I really can’t wait.

As you know I love Wednesdays because it means it is time for another theme over on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. It is a the theme you all seem to love ……..

This week the design are all super excited because we are all using Simon Says Stamp very own EXCLUSIVE DIES ……. make sure you check them out because they are amazing!!!!!

I have used the Allegro Corner die and it is just lush. The quality is amazing and the card popped straight out if the die after it was cut ….easy peasy!

I have coloured my CC Designs stamp with my trusty Spectrum Noirs. I am loving these more and more.They are just so easy to use so if you haven’t tried them yet I would recommend you have a go.

Hi everyone, sorry I am late with my post today – I had scheduled it but looks like blogger is playing up again, grrrrrrrrr.

So today we have a brand new challenge on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog and our theme is BINGO!!!!!!!

The Design Team are all using Magnolia products this week so make sure you check all the other cards for loads of inspiration.

My colouring isn’t that good to be honest but it is the first I have coloured since my eyes have been dodgy plus I am getting used to using a magnifying lamp – it is really odd to use.
