Anyone for Anya

Hi there, guess who forgot to schedule this post ..... oops. So here I am - better late than never. We have had a tiring day after the contest (up at 6am .... 1st band on to play) and are now waiting for the rest of the bands to play before the results are announced this evening. They played ever so well it was sold out so plenty of people enjoyed the music. Anyway, onto crafty things and here is my card for Anyone for Anya ....

GETTING ROUND TO IT

I have chosen this gorgeous Pink Petticoat dotty paper and paper pieced Anya's dress and bow. I love this soft, delicate shade of pink - so girly! I have kept it all very simple with my colour scheme and lay out. Circle are present with my nesties, papers and dies along with the nice curved edges on my ribbon tag.

Lots more stickles about again, think I better get some more ordered at this rate - I am just loving it so much. Right, I really need a cuppa and a lounge about on the sofa. Catch you all later xxx

Anyone for Anya

Good morning ... sssssssssssshhhhhhh you need to keep the noise down a little because it was a very late night in the bar last night here in good old London town! The band did ever so well and finished 6th which is such a great result. So it will probably be a quiet trip back up to Yorkshire on the coach as we all catch up with our beauty sleep :o)
Onto this weeks challenge on Anyone for Anya and we would love to see ....

AUTUMN COLOURS

I have used my gorgeous new Laundry Anya from Dies to Die For and I love her. Isn't she so sweet - poor little thing looks so fed up! I should have brought her with me this weekend to have a little fun, lol. I have followed the sketch from this weeks Spoonfull of Sugar which is a beauty!

I will add all the details later when I get home - I am just impressed I have managed to get my post done this morning!! I have ended up paying silly money for connection in my hotel after being ripped off good and proper by BT Openhub - they shall be getting rather a firm email from me when I get home - I am not impressed with their robbing service at all!!!!! Hey ho! No rest for the wicked today - when we get home we have a couple of hourse tp relax then we are heading off to Xscape where Ryan and his 'singing' band are headlining at The Loft - so if you are in the area pop along :o)
Byeeeeeeeeeeee x

Just Magnolia - Ribbons & Bows

Morning everyone, well I am running late again but this time feeling ever so slightly dodgy .... a little to much celebrating last night with the girls at work ..... urgh!

Will be back later with my full post ..... honest
Here I am ...... feeling much better. The gorgeous girlies at work ordered me a bacon buttie teamed with a can of coke ...... what a perfect fix and delicious too :o)
So, now I am back on track let me tell you about this weeks challenge on Just Magnolia . As you have probably seen on my post header itis Ribbons & Bows this week so come on, we all love ribbons so this is an easy one!

Thought I would try a new colour combo. I was inspired by the gorgeous paper that was in my DT package from Irina at La-La Land Crafts, the yellow flowery paper has little glitter centres that is just so pretty IRL. I have given my glamour dust a rest this week and decided to dust off my diamond stickles - I can't believe how sparkly it is!
A couple of challenges which I had already put down that my card links with ...

Roses on Paper - Use punches and also a sketch challenge
Papertake Weekly - Sketch #22
One stop craft Challenge - Angels / fairies
Pop over to the JM blog for full details of our sponsor this week and also for the very drool worthy DT cards - I swear these just get better and better every week - what a talented bunch of ladies, I feel so privelidged to work alongside them every week. Right, back to work soon - can't wait for it to finish so I can have a lovely bath and slip mu PJ's on. Can't wait to see who is evicted on BB tonight ..... only 1 week left :o(

We have such a cute challenge this week on Just Magnolia , we would love to see you all use buttons on your creations.

I couldn't resist using my summer kits again and I have teamed it up with these gorgeous Making Memories papers that I picked up at almost half price a couple of days ago ... aren't they delish! I have followed this weeks sketch on the secret crafter, love it - so useable!

I love pink and orange together, it is so summery don't you think. I hope you all have chance to play along with us. Please check the DTs cards for some amazing inspiration.
Finally a sad note. My uncle passed away yesterday after a brave fight against cancer. He was my mum's little brother. Thankfully my mum managed to get a flight from Spain and was able to be with him. I would be grateful if you could all say a prayer for my mum at this sad time and remember her in your thoughts.
