Something a little different

 

 

Good afternoon everyone. First of all can I just say that I hope everyone on the East coast of America is safe after the terrible storms. I saw the news on the television and it looks terrible.

Onto more frivolous things now and it is Wednesday which means a new theme for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. We would love to see you all GET INTO SHAPE. No, you do not have to head down to the gym (although I did today, groan) ….. just be creative with shapes.

I have used my Ultimate Pro to create this cute little box file. This was really fun to make.

I made all the little pockets but you could cut spare envelopes in half to create the same effect. It would be great for storing stamped images (if a bigger folder was made) or small embellishments etc.

I have used another cute image from C.C. Designs …… Birgitta is such a cutie!

Simon Says … Anything Goes

Good afternoon ….. I am scheduling my post because I am at work so I am hoping Mr Blogger is behaving and that this is now up on my blog. Half way through the week already and what a gorgeous week it is. I just have today and tomorrow to work and then I get 10 days off. I am hoping to get lots done whilst I am off so I really can’t wait.

As you know I love Wednesdays because it means it is time for another theme over on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. It is a the theme you all seem to love ……..

ANYTHING GOES!!!!

This week the design are all super excited because we are all using Simon Says Stamp very own EXCLUSIVE DIES ……. make sure you check them out because they are amazing!!!!!

I have used the Allegro Corner die and it is just lush. The quality is amazing and the card popped straight out if the die after it was cut ….easy peasy!

I have coloured my CC Designs stamp with my trusty Spectrum Noirs. I am loving these more and more.They are just so easy to use so if you haven’t tried them yet I would recommend you have a go.

Simon Says … Mother’s Day/Special Girl

Good morning, gee what a busy week for cards this week!!! So here I am with my DT card for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog, the weeks just seem to be flying by!!!!!!

Our theme this week is to make a card for Mother’s Day or a special girl. So something girly will be perfect!

I am slightly addicted to Bo Bunny papers at the moment, they are just so scrummy. Love these pretty girly papers so much!

..... also ever so slightly addicted to C.C. Designs too but who can blame me.

Oooh, I almost forgot .... new addiction ..... chalk inks! Watch out as my collection grows you will see a lot more of these ..... just a little smidge around the edge of my sentiment today but I think they will be everywhere in a couple of weeks lol.

I used a new product this time that I have never tried before – I used the blue gelatos by Faber-Castell for the sky. OMG ….. how easy!!! Can’t wait til I actually know how to use them properly lol, easy way to do sky though so I am happy!

Simon Says … Use 3 different papers

Good morning lovely bloggers. well it is finally starting to get a bit milder at last. After today I have the rest of the week off so I might have a little drive to the coast tomorrow ….. we’ll see how I feel when I get up.

This week is a great excuse to get your favourite papers out because on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog we would love to see 3 different papers.

I thought I would make a start on my Easter cards – I just love this stamp by CC Designs. The design team are showcasing both CC Designs and also The Greeting Farm.

Back to my dotty backgrounds again – I am liking the background being broken up with a bit of colour.
