Something to brighten up your Saturday

Good morning. Oh what a miserable morning it is today. It is so dark and well..... just horrible.

As promised I amback with another bracelet I made a couple of days ago. I have to say I am really enjoying making other things apart from cards. This is another hugs and kisses bracelet. 

I am really happy with my photograph of this bracelet. I have been trying different angles and I think this works quite well. As soon as I showed it on my Facebook page a lovely lady bought it so it should be at it's new home by now.

I have just got another huge order this morning ... all semi precious beads so I can't wait to use them. I placed another order yesterday too (I know, I know ... I am addicted lol).

A little bit of sparkle fro the weekend

Hi again, I thought I would share a bracelet I made last week. I am really enjoying making jewellery and have just place another big bead order. Sigh, I am truly addicted already but hey, it keeps me out of trouble.

This beauty has purple pearls and then really gorgeous purple crystal bicones and pink seed beads to embellish. Another of those lovely silver and crystal magnetic clasps. I am really proud of this one because it was quite fiddly for a beginner like myself lol.

Hugs and kisses

Hi, I am back again with another bracelet. I completed this one last night and I used another tutorialon YouTube. This design is called 'Hugs and Kisses'

I am going to need lots of outfits for all this jewellery I am making lol.

I will be making this pattern again, I really love it. Next time I might use some fun colours and see how it turns out.

My first bracelet

Hi there, just a quickie to show you a bracelet I made last night. I am so proud of myself and am now totally hooked on beading!!!!

I made this following a tutorial on YouTube and it was pretty simple to be honest. I have used black Agate and Swarovski pearls and then finished with some really beautiful seed beads. I really love the blingy magnetic clasp and I will be buying loads more of these little beauties.

I will be back tomorrow to share my bracelet that I have just finished tonight. xxx

Hanging around waiting for Christmas

 

 

Afternoon world, how are you all? I hope you are all having a good week so far. I am bringing you my creation for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog this week. Our theme is Christmas and the DT are all using Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Stamps and Dies.

I decided to make a pretty hanging decoration which could be used on the Christmas tree or anywhere in the home. I am enjoying making different things to usual. I am pleased with how this turned out and may make a few more too.

Spiderman Hat

Hi everyone, just thought I would share this hat I have made for someone. It is of course Spiderman and is really easy to make. 

Keep a look out for the New Year and lots of new crafty things from me. Finally my blog will live up to it's name and be a crafty corner ... not just a card corner. I have ordered a squillion beads and can't wait to start making my own jewellery .... honestly, it is ridiculous how excited I am about learning a new craft.

Anyway, I better get a move on. Got another couple of hats to finish and also my SSS card for tomorrow to make. One day off is NEVER enough!!

What I have been up to

Afternoon everyone. I thought I would start sharing my crochet creations here on my blog with you all. I taught myself a couple of months ago (YouTube is so helpful) and I am now well and truly hooked. 

I have been making loads of owl hats and also ear warmers and wristwarmers (fingerless mitts)

Here are just a few things I have made.

The owl hats have been really popular - I do love them a lot.

Really popular ear warmers - perfect for girlies who don't like hats. These are really fashionable at the moment and I still need to make myself one!

.....and some super warm wrist warmers - great for keeping warm and being able to use your mobile.

That's just a little glimpse of what I have been up to. I will start posting my creations here from now on. I have loads of other photos on my crafty Facebook page if you want to look.

Off to finish a hat for a girl at work ... promised I would take it in tonight.

What’s your favourite?

 

 

Good afternoon, what a frosty day it is. I have just woken up – on nights again, sigh. Oh well, not to worry – at least I get to snuggle up in bed all day.

Over on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog today we want to know what is your favourite stamp, product or tool. This is really hard for me to choose because I love so many things however I do love my sparkle.

The product I chose was gold Spray & Sparkle by Crafter’s Companion.

I made this box for my niece’s christening gift last weekend. I am so happy with how it turned out. The gold Spray & Sparkle was sprayed on a plain white flower and it really looked gorgeous in real life. Another favourite product is the Ultimate – also by Crafter’s Companion. Talk about easy construction!

Simply snowflakes

 

 

Only me again – not doing too bad with my posts considering I am on a 13 hour shift!! I always get a little nervous scheduling my posts cos good old Mr Blogger has been known to misbehave at times. Anyway, fingers crossed it all goes like clockwork!

It is now time for my DT card for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week we want to see snowflakes. The DT are all using Glitter Ritz products which, btw, are just divine!!!!

Now then, this is VERY different for me but I am determined to continue trying new styles. I have realised sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t but I am having real fun trying new styles of cardmaking.

Feeling a little distressed ….. x

 

Good afternoon everyone, I hope it is dry with you all today. There is so much flooding around and York, as usual has been affected with the Ouse spilling out and causing disruption. I hope your properties are dry and that noone has been flooded.

It is back to reality after my fun away at Craftaganza last week. I am also back to work tonight for 4 night shifts :o(

I am sharing my DT card with you today for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. It is a good old favourite of ‘ANYTHING GOES; so I expect we will be swamped with entries. The DT are all using the fabulous products by Martha Stewart.

I have dug out my very first Magnolia stamp that I ever bought. I really love this one. I am pretty happy with how my card turned out this week. I think if you are happy it shows in your cards – I am certainly in a good mood at the moment :o)

I have coloured my image with a combination of Copics and Spectrum Noir pens. I have finally manage to create a hint of creases in Tilda’s dress and I am going to keep practicing until I get better at this colouring technique. I thought I would colour the background to try and help the image pop, who wants all that white space anyway lol.

  

Check me being all brave and distressing the edges and my flowers – think I need to go lay down after that hahahaha. Lots of Martha Stewart punches here and also some delish ribbon by Martha Stewart too. All links are below.
