Lili of the Valley - A Sketch

Hi there, a bit of a foggy start here this morning but don't worry because I have a bright and cheery card for you all today. Thursday always sees a new challenge on Lili of the Valley and we have a great sketch for you this week. I have turned it upside down but apart from that I have stuck to it!!

Don't you just love this colour combo. Basic Grey always produce such fabulous papers - I just wish they had more than 2 sheets of each design in each pad :o(

It has been ages since I used this sweet Teddy with Bouquet and I have to admit it was nice to make a non christmas card!

Simon Says Stamp - Guest Designer ... Week 1

Good morning ... I bet you didn't expect to see me today did you. Well here I am and I am delighted to be the Guest Designer for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog for the next 4 challenges. I feel so honoured because I love this blog and it is crammed full of such amazing talent .... thankyou ladies :o)

The challenge this week is a colour challenge ...... you have to use pink or blue with green and brown. There is also an optional twist .... to use a Penny Black stamp if you have one but you don't have to use it to join in. there are oodles and oodles of gorgeous Penny Black stamps and lots more to drool over at Simon Says Stamp so grab a cuppa and pop over for a browse - Heidi has so many delicious things to tempt you with. I love this stamp so much and it always makes me smile. The beautiful papers were sent to me by Tracy at DTDF and are from the GCD 12 x 12 Cloisonne Collection Pad - if you love pinks you will ADORE these papers!!! Another beautiful punch by Martha Stewart, thisone is 'Lattice' and it gives such a pretty finish. The roses are a mixture from Tabbycrafts and Wild Orchid crafts and the pretty gem flowers and pin are from Crafty Feeling and the sentiment is by Craftwork cards (also available to purchase from DTDF).

Having my hair done this morning, think it might be time to say goodbye to my fringe .... only had it a few weeks but still not sure about it .... what do you think .... I am the one in the middle

Oh my, how much I enjoyed making this card. Lots of new goodies to play with which is always a great way to start your card don't you agree. I am still inking up my fabulous Spring kit from Magnolia and I have to say I think it is the best one for so long .... the images are all so beautiful. I have also cut into my scrummy new Lilac Avenue papers (Kaiser Craft) which I got from the ever so lovely Heidi from Simon Says Stamp .... How I love purple :o)
The blooms are a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts and Crafty Feeling. The little dew drops are also from Crafty Feeling - I love the shade of green, so pretty. The ribbon is from The Paper Mill Shop and is a real bargain and the cute green flowery ribbon is from my lovely friend Terry ... thanks sweetie. Oooh almost forgot my Stardust Stickles from the wonderful Tracy at DTDF.
I hope you all have a fab weekend - my fridge is so full of food for a family BBQ on Sunday that I dread to think what we will do if it rains ..... I am sure it will be gorgeous. Byeeeeee and enjoy the weather whatever you are doing xxx

I thought it would be a nice change to show you some of the other stamps Teresa stocks. We all know she is the only UK supplier of Sweet Pea Stamps but she also stocks lots of other cuties including this gorgeous Heidi among the flowers who is a little swiss pixie by CC Designs. The fab papers are from BG Lemonade pack and the flowers are from good old Crafty Feeling kit that I subscribe to each month. Ribbon may also be from there (can't reamember now) and the sentiments are from Craftwork Cards ...... so useful to have in my stash! Still loving my Martha Stewart Loop Border Punch .... I need more punches!! Brads and spacers also from stash (which just keeps growing and growing .... does yours do that too???)

 Good morning, well it looks like another gorgeous day again .... doesn't the sun put you in a good mood. We had a hectic weekend again but Ryan had a fabulous week and the concert was brilliant. If any of you want to know alittle about the band you can read it here   . Ryan in in the Henley t shirt (tromboine section) looking very serious, lol.

Guest Designer for Sketch Saturday - week 2

Good morning, have managed to schedule thispost so hopefully I am still sound asleep :o) It is my 2nd week as guest designer for Sketch Saturday and I had so much fun with this weeks sketch! Hubby and I are heading back down south later to collect Ryan but we will be treated to a fabulous concert by the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (yes, I know you all know who they are but I am sooooooooooo proud, lol)  this evening to see what they have been working on all week before we drive all the way home again :o(

I have used the gorgeous Ching-Chou Kuik's Red Hearts which is available as a single stamp and also on Sheet 6, plate 28 which is amazing value for money from Crafts & Me . I love all the Sweet Pea Stamps and am so happy to have a place to buy them from in the UK. I bought the fab frame and Basic Grey papers from Harrogate craft show last weekend. I didn't realise the frame was so big but it is perfect for these images! Oooh, I also got the lovely borderability dies last week too and I love them on my easel card. The yummy roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts (where else) and the punch for my leaves is available from here.

Sweet Pea Combo

Good evening, I hope you have all had a lovely Mother's Day. I have had a nice day although hubby is at work until 11pm. Ryan bought me some vouchers for some beauty treatments which I can't wait to use - what a treat, all my pennies usually go on crafty goodies so I can't wait to be pampered. I have been sat in my craft room this evening when I spotted this fab stamp I got last week from Crafts and Me . I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her and I have had to wait a few weeks for her to make her way over from America to Teresa and then to me but she was worth the wait. Crafts & Me DT card and a bit of waffle too!

Good morning everyone. I know I was supposed to post over the weekend but it has been so hectic here that my 'special' project will be up in a day or two. We have had an exciting weekend, as many of you know Ryan , my son plays for Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Brass Band , one of the best bands in the world!! Anyway, it was the regional finals yesterday and they did AMAZING and have qualified for the National finals which will be held in the Royal Albert Hall in October - they were so brilliant, I am so proud of him and what he has achieved so far at only 16 years old! We are all tired today, we didn't get home til around 1 am but it was all worth it!
