Well hello everyone and oooh …. trying out livewriter for the first time so I hope this post ends up on my blog ….. fingers crossed. I must say it is odd not doing my post from my blog but I am prepared to give it a chance.
How gorgeous is this weather …. I hope it lasts through the BH weekend …..I bet there will be a few BBQ’s this weekend ….. you just can’t beat it can you.
Anyway, on with the post ….. it is fab to be back crafting again (although Sky have still not sent me my new router!!) This week on Papertake Weekly we would love to see you use spots and stripes.

Now isn’t she just yum!!!! A bit bright I admit but heck, who cares when you are cute as this!!!! It is ages since I used pink and orange together … must be this sunny weather that has made me feel all summery. I could fancy an ice cream too …. although this looks like some rather delicious mango sorbet … yum yum!

03-04.11a
Hmmmm think I might need to add some sprinkle spronkles on it ….. just screaming for some bling don’t you think!
So here are a couple of clickable piccies so you can find out where to buy some of the things I used ….. Saw this on Dawny P’s blog and thought it was a cool idea!

Lili of the Valley and a Sneak Peek

Welcome to another challenge with Lili of the Valley, hope you have remembered we are now here every week and this week you have the chance to win ten pounds to spend online at Lili of the Valley. Our challenge for you this week is the 4 seasons so most of us have seen it as a great excuse to make another christmas card. You can choose any season you wish and if you want a chance of the prize please remember to use an image by LOTV

Here is one of the brand new animal christmas stamps - James the Bear 'In the Snow' .... how adorable!!! They will be available to buy online from the 19th July and you are going to love them! Some of my fave papers too by Making Menories and even though they aren't christmas papers I think they work quite well. I have followed the sketch over on A Spoon Full of Sugar.
Have a great day - back tomorrow with Just Magnolia

Almost forgot to tell you ... did you know that Simon Says Stamp now stocks Lili of the Valley rubber stamps - hopefully they will have more of our range very soon but make sure you pop here to have a look!!!

Papers are my good old stash of Making Memories .... love these so much. So onto my fabby goodies from DTDF - well, here are the links to them all ....... beautiful antique silver butterfly charm - so pretty and just a gorgeous addition, how about using a pretty spacer in the centre of your flowers! The brill quality card blank is also from Tracy but I cannot see it on the website yet so I will add a link later :o)
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft and also crafty feeling kits (which I adore) and the other bits and pieces were from my stash.
Hope you all have a great weekend - this is the first BH weekend that my hubby and I are both off together in years so we are going to have a great time - probably have the odd drink or two and maybe, just maybe squeeze a starbucks in too, lol. It's great to be back xxxxxxx

Just Magnolia - More than one fold

Woohoo, here we are at the start of a 4 day long weekend - oh if only it was like this every week!!! Lots of crafting time I hope is ahead although I really do need to knuckle down and get this essay done. I may need to enflict a crafting ban if I cannot get my head in gear, lets hope not. I am finding it hard to get motivatedthis time - oh dear!
We have an interesting challenge for you on Just Magnolia this week. We want to see more than one fold on your card. Hmmm I needed to think for this one and in the end decided to make this cute little spring card .... there is a dead easy tutorial to follow here on Split Coast Stampers.

Flowers are a mix from Poppicrafts and Crafty Feeling and the lovely gem brads are by Papermania (I think). Another fab craftwork cards sentiment (you can buy some HERE and they are so handy to have in your stash, lord only knows how I managed without them. They fit beautifully in my fancy tags by Spellbinders. The lush ribbon is a real steal from the Paper Mill Shop at only £2.99 for 12 metres and comes in loads of colours in both satin and organza. Anyone For Anya plus the catchiest song for ages!!!

Hi there and welcome to another challenge on Anyone For Anya . This week we are sponsored by the fab Dies to die For so pop over to the challenge blog for details of this weeks prize!. The theme this week is ...

MAKE A FAKE

Still opting for the nice bright colours - I think we all need them with this dreary weather we have been having. Picked some of my fave Making Memories papers - so scrumptious! And just how cute is my Anya .... so very sweet. You can grab loads of them from HERE. I have followed the sketch over on Friday Sketchers and I love it!

I am loving my gorgeous large rose which I bought from my lovely buddy Tab - isn't it lush. I have spruced it up with some stardust stickles which is THE thing to have it seems this month. Tracy has just got a load in stock so head over and grab some before it all sells out. Also I am really excited to let you all know that Tracy is going to be stocking Copic Ciaos - I think she is putting them on the website this week. You can keep up to date by becoming a follower of the DTDF blog which gives you all the updates of new stock etc.

Before I go I just want to share this rather catchy tune with you all. It isn't often a song keeps me awake at night but I swear I was still singing this after 1am this morning (groan). I absolutely love, love, love it and thought I would try and keep you all up singing too ..... turn up the old volume and just wait for the chorus - you are gonna love it!

La-La Land - Ribbons

Good morning and woohoo we are half way through the week. Wednesdays mean a new challenge on La-La Land and for me it is my last week with them. I have had a lovely time designing for them and would like to thank Irina for her friendship. It is a great challenge to finish with ....

RIBBONS

I have used one of the first stamps I got, Birthday Lala and she is available from the online store by following the link. I love this sparkly ribbon but only have a little bit left now, it is just so girly. I decided to carry the bling through to my flowers and added heaps of glamour dust to the petals - will definately do this again, I love the effect. Dragged my fave MM papers out too - I adore these so much!

My card fits in with a couple of challenges too ....

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 75 ... I have rotated this fab sketch
Simon Says Stamp - All that sparkles

Have a really lovely day ... will be back later with another card .... love Wednesdays xxx

Anyone for Anya - A sketch!

Good morning to you all, I hope you are all having a great weekend so far. Sunday again so that means it is time for another fun challenge on Anyone for Anya . This week we have a fabby sketch by the lovely Dawny for you all to follow.

I bought these delish papers last week and just had to use them for my card - I now have them in 3 different colours, lol, they are so gorgeous. The aqua in them made me think of this little beauty - Mermaid Anya available from Tracy at Dies to Die For .

I have added some dew drops to her hair - don't you think they look like little bubbles .... so cute! The sentiment has been printed using my computer and cut using my ribbon tag dies (also available from DTDF).
Remember to check all the other DTs cards - they are just gorgeous - we also have 3 fab GDT's too so please say hi to them and leave them some love.
Edited to add challenges ...
Paper Play - Spot This
Have a great Sunday xxx

Just Magnolia - Bev's sketch

Good morning everyone, woohoo it is Friday!! I have the day off today because I had to go to University on Wednesday .... what a fab start to the weekend! So, here we are again which can mean only one thing - another new challenge on Just Magnolia and we have a gorgeous sketch by our lovely Bev.

I am really loving my Making Menories papers this week, they are so pretty and come in such delish colours. I have used another new stamp from my Magnolia Fall kit - I think everyone adores this image .... another scrumptious image!

Instead of using a ribbon I have just added these pretty flowers down the side of the centre panel, I do not know how I used to manage before I bought my roses - funny how you fall in love with certain products isn't it!

A view from a different angle - and that's it! I am going to get my cards made for the weekend now - got the whole day to myself to play so that is nice. Hope you all have a lovely day today too xxx

Mega combo ...... with a little bit of pixie help (and a lovely friend too)!

So here I am, back again .... had a lovely cuppa and natter to my mum and so now raring to go again. All I had to do to this card today was stick a few bits together because I virtually finished it yesterday. A very lovely frined of mine sent me this gorgeous image along with a whole stack more and also a fabulous goody bag of my favourite things - flowers, ribbons etc. Thankyou so much sweetie, you really touched me with your kindness and brought a huge smile to my face!

It would have been plain rude not to start playing straight away so that is just what I did! Now here is the good bit ..... wait til you see how many challenges I got out of this one .... a new record for me I think!!!!!

My Time To Craft - Polka Dot Party
Simon Says Stamp - A Recipe
Cute Card Thursday - Pink & Green
Stamp Something - Favourite embellishments
Stamptacular - Sketch

Phew, think I need another cuppa now. Will be heading off to band in a coupl eof hours and won't be home til around 11pm so you never know, I might catch up with a few of you later. Have a great evening - can't wait to finally lock the front door, lol. xxx

Brand new challenge ...La-La Land Crafts - Flower Power

Good morning and it is an exciting day today because it is the very first weekly challenge for La-La Land Crafts . You really need to see the gorgeous new range of stamps that are now available to pre-order from their web shop , aren't they just so cute!!!

The first theme is a nice easy one ...... FLOWER POWER. Show us your flowers on your cards - they can be on your image, papers, punched or bought but we want to see them somewhere. We are happy for you to combine challenges too so that is great news for everyone too. The top 3 cards from this weeks challenge will win a button for their blog. The winner will receive a 25% discount for the online store . Plus .... everyone who enters this weeks challenge will be put in a draw to win a free Window Lala stamp !

I have used the gorgeous Birthday Lala stamp which was sent to me in my GD parcel (thanks Irina) and couldn't wait to ink her up. The stamps and packaging are a gorgeous quality and they stamp perfectly. As you can see I had no problems adding flowers to my card - you know how much I love them so this was a perfect challenge for me! I have used these delicious papers from Making Memories - they really are so pretty in real life that I hate cutting into them.

I am still getting used to my copics but how great is it that you can colour your pearls too .... so much fun! I followed the sketch from this weeks Sketch saturday and rotated it to make my image fit better. I am also entering it in this weeks Pollycraft challenge which is favourite things (need I remind you all how much I love flowers, lol). You can upload your cards to SCS using the keyword LLWWC1 , that way we can see everyones gorgeous creations in one place. Remeber to pop over to the blog to see all the gorgeous creations from the DT and GD's
