Lili of the Valley DT

Morning, oh wow it feels good to be back. It has been soooooooooooo long since I made a card. I am a little rusty and need a bit of practice again but I really loved making this little project. Lili of the Valley challenge has also returned and we would love to see something NEW ..... interpret this in anyway you like.

I have chosen one of the brand new images which will be available in a couple of weeks from the LOTV website - OMG these new images are so cute, they really are getting better and better - I just don't know how Lisa and Laila keep doing it!! To also tie into the theme I have made my easel card into a calendar - all ready for a brand new year!

A closer look at the sweet image - the sentiment is also a new LOTV one which will be available at the same time. I hope you get chance to play along with us - right, off to work now ..... but inly for one day - woohoo!!

Music Saves My Soul Saturday

Morning everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far ..... any snow for you yet?? None here today so far here but who knows what will happen later. So it is the last shopping weekend before christmas and I thought I would share one of my favourite songs ever!!

Oh Holy Night ...... wow, what an amazing song. There are lots of versions out there but wow, this gives me goosebumps everytime and makes me want to cry (I am a bit odd, lol) ..... hope you enjoy it....

Music Saves My Soul Saturday

Hi everyone ..... phew thank goodness for weekends! Another extremely busy and stressful week at work but hopefully it will start to settle a bit now we are getting used to the new IT system and the glitches are starting to be fixed. Still hard finding all the information quickly so my poor patients have had to be very patient with us all. My mum has also been in hospital but is improving now which is a relief to us all.

So onto this weeks tune .... I heard this yesterday and thought it would be perfect for sharing with you - I love feel good songs. I loved Back to the Future - such a brill film.

Hello there, oh it is good to be back again and at last we can all have a little sing and dance at the weekend again with Music Saves My Soul - woohoo

Thankyou so much for all the lovely messages about Music Saves My Soul since I have been missing in action - I am so amazed that you have missed me and the chance to share our tunes. I hope you have lots of fab tunes to share this week - I can't wait to hear them. I do need to get a few little candies out from before so I really apologise to those who are waiting - gonna get right on it!

So onto my tune ..... I love dancy type tunes and so I couldn't resist the brand tune 'The Time' by The Blackeyed Peas .... a funky twist on an old favourite.

Hi there .... oooh how are you liking all the snow. It is causing a few headaches for travel and schools etc but it does look gorgeous don't you think

I am playing catch up and have 2 cards to share with you tonight.

So sorry it is short and sweet - I am shattered, been so busy at work. We are changing the whole computer system at work and tomorrow is the first go live day so lord only knows what will happen. We have plenty of IT support from the PCT so hopefully the next couple of weeks will go smoothy ..... time for a new NHS .... oh lord I hope it is easier than it has been in training all month .... welcome to SYSTM 1 ..... eek!!!
