Hooray, my beautiful new Cricut Maker has arrived. I can't even describe how happy I am. I am feeling so motivated to start creating - it's brilliant!! I have missed paper and glue so much and I am raring to get back. 

Rather than rushing straight in I have spent today sorting my room out a bit - there is so much I have forgotten about. I have placed an order at Ikea for a few more shelves so hubby is collecting those tomorrow. I have also ordered a sit/stand chair which will be really useful I think - so much of my crafting was always done standing but my poor old back isn't as young as it once was.

I just don't know where to start with my cricut but I think I will be making lots of cards plus other crafty things too. My son is getting married next year so lots of invites to make too. He was only a teenager the last time I crafted regularly - where does the time go?

With Christmas just around the corner I am sure I will be making a few handmade gifts too.

Ah, it's great to feel like this again about crafting.

Here's me with a very cheesy grin after I unboxed all my goodies, lol. I got a great bundle from Hobbycraft saving over £120 which is just amazing.

And here is my test piece from setup .... I just had to choose this image lol. How gorgeous is the paper - it is from an old Kaisercraft pad from the Shaken not Stirred Collection. 

That's enough waffle from me.

Happy weekend everyone. How horrid is this rain!! I am not enjoying it at all. It feels so cold – I even had the heating on briefly last night. Yesterday my new Birchbox arrived to cheer me up. Overall I was pleased with the contents, I am so happy with the blusher plus the other items all seem nice enough so I think it was a good month.

I am just going to take Glen out to my parents for half an hour bless him, cabin fever has set in. I can’t believe it is 6 weeks tomorrow since his accident. He is such a good patient, I feel so thankful he is still by my side.

Good evening everyone, I hope you are having a good day .... hang in there it's almost the weekend thank goodness. 

It was my late finish tonight but the good news is it also meant that I start at lunch so I was able to pop to the Post Office and collect my parcel that I missed yesterday.

It was the best type of post .... goodies for me!

I have become slightly obsessed with beauty boxes over the past few months. I just love the whole idea of getting lots of new things to try each month. My parcel today is by Latest in Beauty and it is the first time I have had a box from them.

I have subscribed to this one because I was with YOU Beauty but they have now merged with Latest in Beauty so I took up this in place of it. Because I had transferred over I got a free product worth £53 ....wow!!!!

You can choose either 3, 6 or 9 products and can either get a monthly subscription or a one off box. I have signed up for a monthly box (cos I am just greedy) which means I choose 9 products for £18 (not £25 like I mentioned ... oops)  a month including postage. I just love my new box so much.
