Just Magnolia - A sketch

Morning, what a dreary day it is today - looks like autumn is back again. But .... it is Friday and that is fab because not only is it the end of the working week for lots of us it is also time for another challenge on Just Magnolia. We have a really easy sketch fo you all to follow this week so come on, no excuse - join in the fun!

How beautiful are these papers. OMG it hurt to cut them but I am glad I did. They are by Kaiser Craft and from the Gypsey Sisters 6x6 pad. Talk about lush = the pack has flocked, glittered and glazed papers - no wonder I needed to lay down after cutting them!!!!

I have also made Tilda a brunette - something I don't usually do cos I am scared of change but I am glad I had a go ... more practice is needed I think, lol.

Challenges

A Spoonfull of Sugar - Anything Goes
Crafts & Me - Easels
Flutterby Wednesday - All winged things
Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes

Another brownie point for me for yet another easel card - I am so impressed with myself for keeping them going. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to join in my 'Music Saves My Soul' challenge - there is a new one every Saturday so you still have chance to join in ....... click the button at the top right of my blog.

Sweet Pea Combo

Good evening, I hope you have all had a lovely Mother's Day. I have had a nice day although hubby is at work until 11pm. Ryan bought me some vouchers for some beauty treatments which I can't wait to use - what a treat, all my pennies usually go on crafty goodies so I can't wait to be pampered. I have been sat in my craft room this evening when I spotted this fab stamp I got last week from Crafts and Me . I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her and I have had to wait a few weeks for her to make her way over from America to Teresa and then to me but she was worth the wait. This image is another of the wonderful Sweet Pea Stamps illustrated by Ching- Chou Kuik from the Fantasy Art Collection and she is simply called It's my birthday. You can only purchase these beautiful stamps from Crafts & Me in the UK.

Just Magnolia - Rach's sketch

Hi everyone, Friday again and time for another challenge on Just Magnolia . We have a fabulous sketch by the lovely Rach for you all to follow this week. I love sketches and I know lots of you do too so come along and join in the fun.

I have used my copics again and am loving them more and more every time I use them. I just think the blender pen is great and used it to create the white areas on the balloon, how cool, lol. I normally pick my papers first but because I do not have all the copic colours I am colouring my image first and then choosing my papers. These funky papers by K & Co were a perfect match I thought for Edwin and his party balloon.

I also coloured the little stars to match the colour scheme, how on earth did I manage without my copics????? I hope you all have a fab Friday and remember to check out the DTs cards - you know they are all just amazing!!!!! See you tomorrow with another card.

Stamp Something DT card

Good morning, it is Friday again and so far no sign of those snail showers thank goodnes, lol. It is however time for another great challenge with us all at Stamp Something . The theme this week is ...

EASTER

We are lucky enough to have another fab sponsor, Didital Stamp Oasis , and this is one of their cute images called 'Rebecca Rabbit the Painter' . Check our blog for full details of this weeks sponsor and prize!

Still using my new goodies from Harrogate including these fab K&Co papers and my great prima flowers! I have used the sketch from this weeks Charisma Cardz ... really like this one!

Still trying to decorate the insides too. I will take better piccies later today - these were taken last night and are a bit poor quality ... sorry.
Another apology too - sorry for the lack of comments from me this week. I have been so far behind with my cards this week. Catching up still from Harrogate and my parents stopping. Have next week off so hopefully should get caught up again. I hope you all have a fabulous day ... almost the weekend... hang in there!!

Inspirational Card Sketches #10

Good morning to you all. I hope you are all having a good week so far. A little sad in my house this morning because my mum and dad are going home today. My mum and I have had a great time craft shopping all week and have truly shopped til we dropped!! I am off work today so that we can drive them to the airport at lunch time ... it will be stange with them gone!

Anyway, I will look forward to seeing what mum makes with all her new stash ... she might even be able to take part in this weeks Inspirational Card Sketches .

Now I really like this card but you should have seen me having a diva moment (or 2) whilst making it. For some bizarre reason my ink decided to be all smudgy, especially whilst colouring her arms. I think I threw 2 or 3 in the bin before I settled with this one.
I have used all lovely new stash for this card - my WOJ stamps (x3), K & Co papers, nesties and new fab flower!! All from The Hobby House (link in sidebar) on Saturday - Jill, you almost emptied my purse. I had already bought loads of stuff from Jill and went to tell Bev where we were sat for lunch and ended spending £76 on top of earlier. Then went back and got more .... talk about a fab stand with such brilliant merchandise :o)

Here is a closer peep at Melinda .... I just love glamour dust, how did I live without it! This is also my first attempt at masking so be kind, lol. Also my first time colouring her and will probably never make her top green again because I have just lost all the foliage in her top!

Even been good and decorated the inside - slowly getting better at using my papers .... just as well cos it makes all the difference to the finish of my cards!
Please make sure you check out the DT cards - they are such a talented bunch and I just love their cards!!
