Simon Says ... Check it Out

Good morning, so sorry I am a little late today - my sone has gone away this morning for a few days with the County band so I had to get him all sorted and see him off ... thought I had scheduled my post but set it wrong ... oops!
Thankyou for all the amazing entries last week for our friends challenge, wow, that was really popular. I love looking at your cards. This week we have another great challenge for you all on Simon Says Challenge Blog ... we want to see you ...

CHECK IT OUT

Just use checks or gingham etc somewhere on your creation to be in with a chance to win the $25 gift voucher to spend at Simon Says Stamp Store. Heidi even pays for the postage, what a sweetheart!!

So here is my card for this week .......

I have used one of the gorgeous Miss Anya 'Love' stamps. I just love her dress and hair - so pretty. Heidi stocks a great choice of stamps by The Greeting Farm which you can see HERE. My papers are by Basic Grey and are from the Kioshi 6x6 pad.

I tried a new way of colouring my images .... I have used my copics but also my prisma color pencils too. I am really happy with the results, especially because it is the first time I have tried it. I had to blow the dust of my neglected pencils - don't you love how they smell (am I strange, lol).

I do hope you get chance to play along. Please can you take time to read my post below about a special girl called Bella ..... there is a special blog hop trying to get as many cards as possible sent to this brave little girl .... thankyou so much xxx

Wishes for Bella Blog Hop Week 2

Welcome to week 2 of the wishes for Bella Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Denise's blog which is also the start of this weeks hop. There will be prizes along the way so make sure you pay a visit to all the stops and leave a comment. Here is a list of the hop order in case you get lost .....

This hop is really about a very brave little girl, Bella.  She is a member of the same gymnastics team as my daughter.  You can read her story HERE.  The gym, Bella's school and many members of the local community are working hard to raise money to help the Tucker family.  I wanted to do something to raise Bella's spirits and let her know people from all over the world and thinking of her and wishes her the best on the hard road ahead she has.  So I am looking for everyone to shower her with cards for the next month.  Please help me help her by making and MAILING as many cards as you can to help her smile each day.  The mailing address is...
The Bella Tucker Fund
P.O. Box 199
Londonderry NH
03053 USA

There will be a hop each week for the next 3 weeks to keep the smiles coming!  And lots and lots of candy for all of you!!!!  Once you have made and mailed a card, please post the card on you blog and link it using THIS LINK TO THE GRAND PRIZE.  Here you can read about the grand prize worth over 150$$$$$$.  You can enter as many times as you like, as long as you are entering cards you are mailing to Bella!  Let her know we are thinking of her or mail her a funny card to get her to giggle!

I will be picking a winner at random from my comments of this post to win some candy that I am putting together. It will include some rubber, flowers, mixed papers etc so pop back later for a piccy. The winner will be announced next week, please all feel free to enter - I will post world wide. I do want you to send a card though please to Bella as a condition of entering my candy. Please leave the word CANDY after your comment if you wish to take part.
You should now hop over to Julie's blog for the next stop on your journey.

Thankyou all so much for taking part

Lili of the Valley DT card ... A sketch

Good morning, how are you all???? I had a wonderful day off yesterday and spent the afternoon shopping in York instead of watching the footie (how terrible of me, lol). It was fab because there was hardly any traffic on the roads and the shops were really quiet .... perfect!

Thanks to you all for entering our last challenge on Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog - I can't believe 2 weeks has passed already. We have another great sketch for you all to follow - remember you need touse a LOTV stamp/die cut if you want to be considered for the prize.

I have used the super sweet Baby Blanket stamp which is from the newest release of stamps which you can see on the Lili of the Valley web store here. My papers and tag/letters are from Papermania's Rose Garden paper pack. They are really bringing out some wonderful papers at the moment - how can anyone refuse such temptations!

A little reminder that on Sunday the craft show at The Dome is being held in Doncaster. Lisa and Laila from Lili of the Valley will have their ever popular stand there where you can pick up all the stamps and die cuts that you could ever wish for. There are also lots and lots of cards on display which have been made by the DT for your inspiration. Plus if all that wasn't enough you can even pop and say hello to me if you like. I will be helping the girls out because they are always rushed off their feet with clever crafty souls who know a bargain when they see one.

Hope to see you on Sunday!!
