Simon Says ….. Anything Goes

Good morning and welcome to a new week on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. Have you all entered our DT Call yet? My name is in the bag and I am keeping my fingers crossed for another term with the fabulous Simon Says Stamp …..make sure you check out the details on the challenge blog.
Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES.
This is always popular so you have no excuse not to join in with the fun.
The design team are all showcasing various hemp and twine this week and there is such a huge selection to choose from online.

I had loads of fun making this card even though it turned out completely different to what I had in mind. I really wanted to colour in this pretty stamp by The Greeting Farm this week because it has been so long since I last inked her up. I have had a field day with my punches and dies ….. can’t believe I fit that many onto one card!

I always pick my colours from whatever papers I use and these ones are just so delicate. I usually try and stick to a maximum of 3 colours because I find this works best for me.  I have used my copics to colour with

Lashing of sparkle added last minute really helped lift my card, where would I be without stickles ….. probably in a dark, dreary place hahaha. All the products I have used are linked below.

Ok, so what do you win if you take part …..

As usual you have the chance to win a brilliant prize …… a $50 voucher to spend at Simon Says Stamp Online Store!!!!!!!

There are already lots of things up there so pop along and see what all the fuss is about.

The Paper Shelter – Bling It On

Good evening, well I managed to survive at work today on the hottest day of the year despite being so very busy. I just have tomorrow to go and then I get a couple of days off plus a night out with hubby on Friday so I am looking forward to it!!!!

Sorry I am late today with my card for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog but to be honest 2 cards in one day is a lot to post for me so a break in between is probably a good thing lol.

The challenge this week is Bling it On so what a perfect theme for me!!!! I am so in love with these images that I just enjoy colouring them so much. Here is my card ……

This beautiful image is called 'Lets's make a Pic-nic' and I think she is just so sweet.

I took the inspiration for my copic colours from the beautiful papers - these are Kaiser (again, I think I am seriously in totally addicition mode with this brand) and they are from the 'The Lake House' pad .... delish!!!!! A nice change is the platinum stickles, I think I like it almost as much as the stardust - now that says something!

The scrummy diecuts are from a rather naughty friend of mine who sent me some die cuts but also sent me the delish dies for my birthday - thankyou hunny ....mwah, they are so pretty x

...and look, I even did the inside too - aren't I good!

So that's it for today ...... I really hope you can join in. Check out the challenge blog for details of the prize and also for more inspiration.
Challenges:
Kaboodle Doodles – Dressed for Success
Truly Scrumptious – Pretty in Pink
Creative Inspirations – Anything Goes
Enjoy the sunshine tomorrow xxx

Simon Says … Father’s Day Card / Male Card

Good morning – woohoo, summer has arrived …… and I am at work for 13 hours, sigh! Never mind, I have taken my skirt and t-shirt to wear on the way home hopefully and should hopefully enjoy a little sunshine with the roof down on the drive home. It looks like it is going to be a glorious week so I might enjoy a little sunshine on Friday and Saturday whilst I am off. Can’t complain though cos I had a lovely day off yesterday.

So back to the job in hand. It is Wednesday so we all knows that means a brand new theme on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week it is one of those themes that we just don’t do often enough ……. we would love to see you make a male card or a Father’s Day card.

I have to admit to struggling with male cards. I do love my ribbons and flowers but for obvious reasons I have given them up for this week. However I am now thinking I could have added a nice ribbon and charm to my card – maybe next time. I still managed a bit of bling though hehe.

I am really fond of sweet Humphrey – this stamp is from the latest release and the link can be found below. I have put my copics to one side and coloured this cutie with my Spectrum Noir pens which Simon Says Stamp Online Store stock – go check them out, they are so reasonably priced!

I have a bit of news for you …. did you know that Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog are having a DT Call? I bet that got your attention – make sure you pop over to the blog for more details …… I can honestly say it is an amazing team to be a part of.

So as usual one very lucky winner chosen at random will win a $50 voucher to spend at Simon Says Stamp Online Store – good luck!

Simon Says … Clean & Simple

Hi everyone and woohoo, I am back after my holiday to Tenerife – I had a really lovely time and have to say it was great to have some sunshine. What on earth is going on with the weather here in the UK – it is awful. My card was frozen up this morning, whats that about??????

One good thing though is that it is perfect crafting weather so I hope you can join in this week with us all on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. Our theme is Clean and Simple. The design team are using products by Lawn Fawn and also Lala Land Stamps.

02-05.12

Here is my very simple card. It was so difficult not adding flowers and ribbons etc etc. Some purists may say I should not have used my yummy papers but that is just a step too far if you ask me lol.

A lucky winner can win $50 to spend at Simon Says Stamp Online store so hurry up and join in for the chance to spend!!!!! Thanks to Heidi for the generous voucher as always x

Simon Says… Sweet Tooth

Hi there, well fingers crossed my post works because it has been scheduled. Wednesday means another week to play along with Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week our theme is Sweet Tooth so anything sweet to eat on your creations will be perfect!! The design team are all using products by Faber-Castell this week so make sure you check out their blogs for additional inspiration.

I have coloured Whiff of Joy’s cute Henry using my Copics. I have coloured the sky and grass using my Faber-Castell Gelatos and they are so easy to use with a drop of water on a paint brush. The frosting on the cupcake has been made using glossy accents with some glitter sprinkled onto it whilst it was still wet.
