I remember having decoupage of these cuties when I first started crafting.I am so excited that they are now stamps. I have stamped this onto Neenah card and coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens. I will do a tutorial soon how to create a leafy/camouflage look for those who are interested.

I have used the papers from the CD-Rom and added some netting and a button (tied with twine). The sentiment was created using the verse writer from the CD too –how useful is that!

Simon Says … Put a STAMP on it …. a special STAMPtember challenge

Good afternoon and welcome to a really special post this week for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. All of us on the design team are so excited to be taking part in Simon Says Stamp special celebrations for STAMPtember ….. a full 30 days of fun right throughout September.

Here is a bit of information all about this weeks fun……

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember ™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Good evening - wow, the sun has finally returned!!!! It has been a lovely day here in Yorkshire and looks like it will be nice tomorrow too, fingers crossed. I have some more great news to share this evening with you all - I am joining the DT for Create with TLC. I am so excited because I just love these sentiments soooooooooooooo much! They really help finish a card perfectly.

Spectrum Noir Blog Hop

Welcome to the very first Spectrum Noir Blog Hop!  This week our entire design team has come together to start off summer with a grand celebration of Yellow - the color of summer!  If you have landed here from Kristine's blog, you are hopping in the right direction.  If not, pop over to the Spectrum Noir Blog so you do not miss a single stop!

So here is my card. Talk about last minute!!! I have been on nights all week so only started my card last night. I finally finished it at about 2am but I had sooooooo much fun!!! I have coloured a gorgeous image by Saturated Canary. I printed my digi onto Neenah Card and as you can see Spectrum Noir pens work great with digital images.

I would never really have thought about using so much yellow on a card, I mean yellow boots, come on, lol ..... but I think it works really well. The pens blend so easily and I really do urge you all to have a go at making a yellow card. I am also thrilled because I found this great colour combo for hair. I think it is the quickest I have EVER coloured hair in my crafting life.

Here are the colours I used for my image .....

Skirt & Boots: CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, GB3 (Soles: GB8, GB10)

T-shirt: BG1, BG2, FS8, Blender

Skin: FS1, FS2, FS3, FS8, TN1

Lots and lots happening today……. missed DT news and eye update

…… and it isn’t fair because I am missing out on it all!!!!!

Yes, I am sulking but just because I cannot craft but doesn’t mean I can’t tell you what is happening. I have missed out on all my DT committments this week and I am just gutted about this. I am so fortunate though to have very understanding teams and fingers crossed I will be back for next week!

So where to begin …… well first of all I am sure you have seen that Crafter’s Companion are due to launch 3 new Beatrix Potter characters on Ideal World as Pick of the Day next Tuesday 20th March. Jeremy Fisher, Benjamin Bunny and Timmy Tiptoes will all be joining the Crafter’s Companion family as brand new rubber stamps and matching CD-Roms.

Can I just say a big thankyou to everyone for their lovely messages and best wishes. Just to let you know my eyes are feeling a little better. The pain has almost gone and I now just have an ache and some sensitivity to light. My vision still isn’t back correctly but I think it is improving so fingers crossed it isn’t too long before I am crafting again. I am back at the opticians on Friday so I will know more after my review.

So here is my card that I made for this week. I have to say I am still loving the stamps by Belles n Whistles .... this beauty is called 'Cupcake' ... isn't she beautiful! I have followed the sketch on this weeks BnW Challenge Blog and I got rather carried away with my flowers, lol. My Time to Craft has the theme of Perfect Pets so this also seems to fit the bill!

I have also used more Basic Grey papers again this week, I have to confess to having so many of their 6x6 pads but I just love them. These papers are from the Sugar Rush pad .... what delicious colours! You can also get plenty of bling and pearls online from Simon Says Stamp .
