Always be yourself … unless you can be a mermaid

Happy Monday to you all. I am so happy to be back with my first card in 6 years! I can’t quite believe it has been that long. It has taken me a couple of weeks to be fair to make my card but it is now finished.

I enjoyed making this so much. The image is just so pretty. It is from my beautiful mermaid stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. This has to be one of my favourite colour combos and I didn't even realise at the time but it matches my new blog colours perfectly ... loving this little bonus!

For my card I have used one of the beautiful mermaid stamps and coloured with my copics. It seems so odd colouring and I need a few refills for my skin tones so I will get those ordered online.

I have added some stickles for a little bling – I just love glitter … the shade is waterfall.

This is something new to when I blogged before ... 3D effects .... press play .... how fun!

I really love the sentiment stamps in this stamp kit … perfect for any age at all. I popped to The Range and Hobbycraft for a couple of bits and couldn’t believe my luck when I found this beautiful First Edition paper pad (Beyond the shore, 6x6) … the colours were perfect and just beautiful mermaidy designs.

Slimming World Weigh In Week 3

So Saturday saw my next weigh in. I was actually feeling fairly confident on my way to group this week which is such a nice feeling. My week had been pretty good. My meals were certainly on plan but my treats still need looking at. If I am honest I am not very good at counting my syns and this is something I need to work at.

I am delighted though to have lost 2lbs this week. This is now 4lbs off and I feel that I am back in the swing of things. I have done a quick update video if you want to watch …..

In group we went back through our books and our consultant did the ‘new member’ talk to the group. It was really good to be reminded of the basics. I also picked up some more mint choc hifi bars – oh man they are soooooo good.

Overall I was pleased with the contents, I am so happy with the blusher plus the other items all seem nice enough so I think it was a good month.

I am just going to take Glen out to my parents for half an hour bless him, cabin fever has set in. I can’t believe it is 6 weeks tomorrow since his accident. He is such a good patient, I feel so thankful he is still by my side.

Look Fantastic Beauty Box - September 2018 Unboxing

I am so happy, my Look Fantastic beauty box has arrived and I was home when the postie brought it!! I always try to open my box when I film so I was really happy that I could unbox it straight away.

For those that don’t know Look Fantastic is a beauty subscription box with varies subscription offers. I get a rolling month and can cancel at any time. I pay £15 a month including delivery and I LOVE it!!!!!

This month it is their 4th birthday so I was hoping to be wowed!!!

I really enjoyed opening this box and I cannot wait to try the products. I already know that I love the Evelom cleanser so I am delighted to have more of this. I am excited to try the hair product and may even do a review on it after I have tried it.

It's time for Stamptember with Simon Says Stamp!!

This is the first crafty thing I have made in so long and I am still unpacking my craft things but I so wanted to take part. I have made a festive gift tag to share today.

For my tag I have used the beautiful centre cut holiday icons rubber stamp. This stamp is so cool – it can be used as one large stamp or as 3 separate smaller stamps. I really love the sweet design and it is just so versatile for the festive season.
