A couple of pics and a bracelet

Hi, I am still alive even though it has been forever since I last posted. I have this week off so hopefully I will manage a couple of posts.

I am looking forward to also doing a bit more exercise this week. I joined slimming world a couple of months ago and have managed to lose a stone. I would love to lose another but I think it will slow down now so I am just going to try and tone up instead and see how it goes.

Here are a couple of pics of me from the weekend when I was all dressed up for the races. Looking almost like a lady lol....

We had a brilliant day and the weather was glorious. We even had a few wins to help pay for our drinks lol.

Onto my bracelet. I haven't made anything in ages, or so it seems so I thought I would just make a quickie this evening. I am still loving turquoise this summer so I have made this blingy infinity bracelet ....

Simon Says Stamp - Guest Designer ... Week 1

Good morning ... I bet you didn't expect to see me today did you. Well here I am and I am delighted to be the Guest Designer for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog for the next 4 challenges. I feel so honoured because I love this blog and it is crammed full of such amazing talent .... thankyou ladies :o)

The challenge this week is a colour challenge ...... you have to use pink or blue with green and brown. There is also an optional twist .... to use a Penny Black stamp if you have one but you don't have to use it to join in. there are oodles and oodles of gorgeous Penny Black stamps and lots more to drool over at Simon Says Stamp so grab a cuppa and pop over for a browse - Heidi has so many delicious things to tempt you with. I love this stamp so much and it always makes me smile. The beautiful papers were sent to me by Tracy at DTDF and are from the GCD 12 x 12 Cloisonne Collection Pad - if you love pinks you will ADORE these papers!!! Another beautiful punch by Martha Stewart, thisone is 'Lattice' and it gives such a pretty finish. The roses are a mixture from Tabbycrafts and Wild Orchid crafts and the pretty gem flowers and pin are from Crafty Feeling and the sentiment is by Craftwork cards (also available to purchase from DTDF).

Having my hair done this morning, think it might be time to say goodbye to my fringe .... only had it a few weeks but still not sure about it .... what do you think .... I am the one in the middle

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - White on White

Hiya everyone. oops looks like I am a little late again ... I must stop going out on a Friday night, lol. It is Saturday so time to join us all at Penny Black for a great challenge ....

WHITE ON WHITE

Now deep breaths and don't panic .... this is actually a brilliant theme as I found out. I loved it once I got started and think I may use this for a lot of my christmas cards this year.



The cuttlebug was put into action with a couple of embossing folders - how quick and easy! A nice simple image and a bit of stickles and hey presto ... job done!



I have also added a bit of cosmic shimmer to my flowers, I love this and think I will be getting lots of lovely shades next week at the NEC (eeek only 7 days to go ... woohoo!!!!)


Thought I would leave you with a scary pic of me from last night. Popped into The Living Room (my fave bar) with hubby for a nice drinkie or two and bumped into Julie - a lady that I work with and her partner. Needless to say we ended up having a fair few drinks and a fabulous night out - aren't those the best type of nights :o)
