Poor Tilda is 'Cold as Ice'

This week on Tilda & Co we were only allowed to use blue and white and had to make our project look icy cold. I thought this image was perfect for the challenge. Another christmas card made too so that was handy. I think the blue glitter card works quite well and almost looks like snow falling on a deep blue sky. I also added some crystal glitter to her fur and around her feet. It really sparkles so much in real life and is a lovely effect. Poor Tilda, she looks so cold ... lets hope she can warm up a little for next weeks challenge!

A few more challenges with 1 card

Ok so I know it is a bit naughty, lol, but I have to try and squeeze as many challenges in as possible these next couple of days because I am going on my holiday .... sunshine at last!! I have had a great week so far - my circle nesties finally arrived and I have some new Penny Blacks to play with, woohoo. Onto my card now .... isn't this just the cutest stamp, I adore it. The challenge by Penny Black and CCT was for ribbons (well CCT was soft furnishings) so managed to fulfil that part with this fab gold ribbon. Also managed to sneak another challenge in by Dutch Dare by using an animal image.

Penny Black stamp coloured with prismas, paper from Papermania's Exquisite paper collection (so gorgeous), circle nesties .. woohoo, sentiment stamp from cuddlybuddly, roses and ribbons from stash (I highlighted a few tips of the petals with a gold marker)

Managed a hat-trick again!!

Yep, that's right ... 3 challenges again with one card but it seems to have taken me hours and I am still not happy but that is just crafting ... right??! So, onto the challenges ... first of all Stamp Something's challenge this week is a colour challenge using pink, green and blue as the chosen colours. With the colour scheme decided it was then time to see what other challenges tickled my fancy. Cute Card Thursday challenged us all to make a card with 2 of something so I chose this cute image from Hanglar and Stanglar which also fitted nicely into the challenge by My time to craft whose theme is cats for this week.

Stamp coloured with prismas, papers by Paper mania Olivine Essence pack and also warm tones from the inspirations collection, studio g stamps , flowers, ribbons and brads from stash

I love taking part in the Sarah Kay Challenge each week, they have the most adorable images. This week there was a gorgeous sketch to use for inspiration and I found it so easy to make this card. Another good excuse to use my fab new papers, I love them sooooooooo much.

Bookatrix for 18th birthday

I made this at the beginning of the week for a lady at work. Her niece loves diving and seahorses and she asked me to make something with sea creatures for her. The holographic card looked great in real life and this is the first time I have used fancy edging scissors for a bookatrix - I was quite pleased with the effect. It is nice to make something a little different every now and then and I enjoyed doing it. Fingers crossed her niece likes it!
