Music Saves My Soul Saturday

Woohoo, MSMS has finally returned.. How excited are you lol????? Well after a break of several years and a little bit of nattering from the lovely Lydia I have decided to host it again.

What is it I hear you ask? Well, it is just a place once a week to share a music video that you really enjoy. Somethimes there may be a theme but usually it is just whatever you are loving right now.

There are no real rules other than to post your link to your blog post below using the linky. On your own blog you should share your video and it would be really nice if you also shared our MSMS piccy too.Try to help spread the word ..... the more people who join in the more fabulous music we can find. It would also be really nice if you could leave peeps a comment if they play along - we all love those don't we :)

Hello, how is the start of your weekend???? It is a bit foggy here so I am hoping it burns off to leave a lovely day. I hope those of you at the NEC have been having a great time - I am all spent up after Harrogate last weekend so I better just stay away lol

Sorry I didn't post a song last week, I was just shattered after my shopping spree and then I was back at work on Sunday ...... hope I am forgiven.

So what song to choose, to be honest there are loads but ...... I have decided on an oldie from Pink .... 'So What!' ..... love her sense of humour

Good morning everyone ..... it's the weekend - woohoo and the sun is even shining!

Before I bring you Music Saves My Soul can I just say a huge thankyou to all your lovely messages that you sent yesterday about my eyes and the help you offered re lamps. My eyes feel slightly more comfortable today so I am hoping they continue to improve and that my vision returns back to normal. It will be hard for me to rest my eyesbut I am going to do my best and I am only spending very short periods on my computer.

Anyway, enough about all that. I have been itching to bring you this song all week ......

Morning world, how are you all today ...... woohoo, it's the weekend again at last and I am off!!!! Even better so is my hubby so hopefully we will have a great night out tonight.

I am on time again (sort of) for another Music Saves My Soul ...... at least it is still Saturday morning. I am so sorry at how eratic I am at posting MSMS but at least I am here lol.

And so it was such an easy choice.because of a rather handsome guy's birthday yesterday ...... HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON BON JOVI!!!!!! What a delight of male gorgeousness he is, mmmmmm yum!

He is also the man that made me realise there was such a thing as Playgirl .....rofl, my friends big sister bought a copy back in the 80s when he did his photo shoot ooooh, naughty maughty rofl.

There are so many great songs but thought I would go with this one - almost chose one of the many fabulous ballads  he did but this one wonin the end ....just.

Good morning folks. What a lovely few days I have had. Yesterday I met up with a few crafty friends for a colouring daywith our speccies. What a wonderful time we all had. Sara Davies popped in too for a little bit of a natter and a colour - great to see you hun.


I thought I better jolly well get Music Saves My Soul back up seeing as I was a real slack Alice last week and forgot all about it ...oops.

I had my iPod on shuffle yesterday whilst I was travelling to and from Darlington  when I heard this little beauty from Goldfrapp ..... it has been ages since I heard it and the video always makes me giggle.

Hiya, I am back again with MSMS ..... sorry for being AWOL last week - was at work all day then I went straight out from there. Lack of organisation meant we had an unexpected week off but I am raring to go again this week.

I had my choice picked already but then I had to change it last minute when I saw the new Madonna video - OMG she looks AMAZING!!!!!!!! She sure shows how to look fabulous in your fifties ....... jealous.com!

Wow!!!!!! I think this is the beast she has been for a while - she sure gets my vote, can't believe I have loved her since I was a teenager and she is still going strong!

Hiya, sorry I am a bit late with this weeks song choice but I am having a lazy day and am only just getting round to my post. I still need to visit you all from last week so that is the next thing to do so it shouldn't be long until I am listening to your tunes.

I really wanted to play this song all week even though I have been having a real trip down memeory lane the past couple of days. I have been listening to all the 'Now that's what I call music' albums right from the beginning. I am really enjoying it and have rediscovered some brilliant songs. Imight pop one on the end just to be cheeky lol.

Here is my choice for this week, you really must turn the volume up full blast!!!

Oooh, I just love it - what a fab beat! Great to see Mick Jagger too, how funky lol. How good does J Lo look, life is so unfair, sigh.

Hi there, Saturday so here is my music share for the week ....... just getting ready for a messy get together with my friends in York. We are getting the 3pm bus to town so lord only knows what we will be like by the last bus at midnight, hehehehe ...... pics on Facebook to follow!

My song this week is just so catchy, I love it!!!!!! Hmmmm the girl in the video is wearing my stocking tights that I had earlier this year, I had the decency to wear a dress too though lol.

Music Saves My Soul Saturday

Hiya, hope you are all having a really nice weekend so far. I have been chilling and doing a bit of colouring etc so it has been really nice. Ryan has also popped home until tomorrow morning so it is nice to see him for a few hours.

It is the X Factor final tonight here in the UK and it has been an interesting series but not as good as recent years. Having said that there are 3 good acts in the final so who knows who will win. Great to see a girl group in the final at long last - well done Little Mix!!!!

I wondered what to share with you all this week on Music Saves My Soul and in the end I decided on one of the most amazing performance I have watched on X Factor - just watching it again really touched me - Alexandra's face throughout the performance is just so special to watch and you can really see how much it means to her being able to perform with Beyonce. I am certain this performance helped her win the series.

Good morning to a very windy morning in the UK ...... it is the weekend again already and I am off ALL weekend woop woop. I am travelling to see my son perform this evening and I am really looking forward to it. He is also performing a solo so it will be another proud momma moment!

Good morning music lovers .... yes it is true .... I am on time for Music Saves My Soul!!!!!! Do not faint!!! I am actually sorting my post BEFORE work so hopefully the scheduled post will go ahead without a hitch today. This weeks song was really easy to choose. Hubby and I are currently working our way through the box set of Scrubs - love the humour in this!!! Anyway, this song was on one of the episodes and I had forgotten how much I loved it ..... enjoy! Must dig out their cd for my car I think!

A couple of weeks ago I put up a song to say goodbye to Westlife so this week I thought I would say hello to a group which has recently reformed. Oh yes, hello again to Steps!!!! I have to secretly admit to loving Steps - I even saw them in concert, lol. I just love the upbeat tunes even if they are cheesy - I don't care!!!!!

I was in HMV the other day and they were playing Steps - it was so odd to hear them again but it certainly put me in a great mood for my shopping trip.

Hi folks, hope you are enjoying the lovely autumn weather today - it is gorgeous here. Hubby and I are going for a little wander round York then will probably have a bit to eat and sneaky drink by the river.
