Cute Card Thursday - GD Card

Good morning, I hope you are all having a good week so far. Here is my 2nd card as GD for CCT and I have really enjoyed my 2 challenges with them - thankyou so much for asking me :o)

MIRROR MIRROR (SOMETHING SHINY)



Well you cannot say that I haven't done my best to add a little shine to my card, lol. There is mirricard everywhere!!!!! I followed the sketch by my lovely DT buddy Bev who is GD this week for Stamp with Fun ... thanks sweetie, fab sketch!




A little more shine using my spacers and charm, getting thehang of this now, lol. Papers are from ... yep,Bearly Mine CD and yes, my MSDP is making another appearance!

Inspirational Card Sketches #14

Hi everyone and welcome to a brand new week on ICS . Thanks for entering last week ... so lovely to see your interpretations.

I have used an old favourite Sarah Kay with a good old brown & blue combo ....delightful! My papers are Basic Grey and I have used some sizzex dies for the swirls and the corner. This card is actually a pearlescent brown/gold but it is hard to capture on photograph.

Some SU ribbon in chocolate chip across the bottom of the image to finish. You may have noticed the challenge title in my little header ....I have seen this on a few blogs recently and thought it was a great idea so have adopted it too.

Happy Birthday to my PBSC buddy Tracie .... 21 again hun??? Have a brill day!!

Finally a little news ... Tracy has put some new Martha Stewart Border Punches on the Dies to Die For site and there are some really gorgeous ones let me tell you! She will also be adding some Momento ink pads and scrummy Petaloo blooms later today too.

Just a simple little card from me today but feeling inspired by all the sunshine we have had this week!! Those buzzy bees are already working way too hard ... hope that is a sign of a good summer to come!

Wow, Robbie was a popular choice last week and I was ever so tempted to pop him on this week too but I have decided to let him have a little rest and we will call on him again in a couple of weeks. This week is a fab song and I have decided to use it with the footage from Ally McBeal .... if only our work toilets were this much fun!!! Awww I need to go buy all the box sets now - loved this programme so much .... happy Saturday everyone xxx

Morning, so pleased it is Friday again! What glorious weather we are having - I hope it lasts through the weekend :o)
It is not sunshine on our challenge this week though because we want to see ...

FLOWERS AND SHOWERS

I decided to use these beautiful stamps from Whiff of Joy and opted for a single colour scheme influenced by a great song .... Purple Rain, ok - a little corny but I can handle it, lol. Papers are from a recent win from the lovely Michelle (thanks hun) and I love them!




I have kept my card quite simple - liked it better this way, some cards just don't need much adding to them. Insert is very simple also so no piccie taken. Pop over to the Stamp Something blog for details of this weeks sponsor and for the fab inspiration by the DT.

PINK AND GREEN

I was delighted with this weeks challenge because this is one of my favourite colour combos and I knew straight away which papers I wanted to use. I have a mixture of papers from Making Memories and the Bearly Mine CD. Picking which gorgeous stamp was much more difficult but I settled for this beautiful one of Tilda blowing her sparkly hearts.



Lots of glamour dust for her wings and hearts and a few heart shaped gems from my stash. Again, another simple insert so won't bore you with that. I just know you will all be drooling over the gorgeous cards by the rest of the DT, they are stunning again this week.

Cute Card Thursday #57 GD Card / Lili of the Valley #26

CUTE CARD THURSDAY

Good morning to you all, here is my first card for you all for today and a lovely surprise for me! I was delighted when Deb asked me to be Guest Designer for CCT for 2 weeks. I didn't even have to think about it and said yes straight away! They have a fabulous DT which is so talented and full of inspiration - make sure you pay them all a visit. Onto this weeks challenge ......

Getting Edgy!

So those that know me will know the feeling of horror I felt as I read this weeks challenge .... but I have managed to rough up my edges and rise to the challenge!!!! You can also do lots of other things to your edges such as sand or sew. I attacked mine with a good old pair of scissors leaving sweet little Daisy wondering what on earth had possessed me, lol.

I have used my Bearly Mine CD again and finished with some flowers and a yummy gold spacer I recently got from The Hobby House . Everything else was from my stash. Coloured with my prismas and sansador - I loved colouring this image, she is one of my faves.

LILI OF THE VALLEY

Here we are again for another fab challenge with LOTV and this week we have a sketch to follow created by our very talented Jo!

Dug out my Gorjuss Girls and finally inked up this beauty! Of course I rotated the sketch (naughty me, lol) and swapped the sentiment for a ribbon (really naughty me .... sorry) but you can still make out the sketch ... honest!

Papers are Basic Grey and I have chalked the background - quite like this effect and will be doing more of it in the future that's for sure. I have punched the flowers using a retro flower punch and also a daisy punch, finished with a pearl in the centre.

Inspirational Card Sketches #13

Morning, well it is time once again for another sketch by Dawn on ICS and this one really made me put my thinking cap on!!!

I have used my 'artistic license' for this sketch and the elements are there .... honest, lol. I have used this fab stamp by Pink Cat Studios that I got from Tracy at Dies To Die For . Papers from the Bearly Mine CD ... how did I manage without this!

A closer look at these cuties. I have added clear glaze to their eyes but it doesn't really show up on this pic. I have been having lots of smudgy problems with my stazon ink but I have some momento ink on the way so I will be a happy girl again. Penny Black Saturday challenge #45

Morning, wow I am in a good mood. starting to feel back in control and also starting to catch up with my blog hopping. So if I haven't visitied for a while I should be with you in the next couple of days :o)

SING-ALONG SATURDAY

Sometimes you hear a song on the radio and it takes you back to a fabulous memory. I heard this yesterday on the radio and thought I would share a little memory of mine with you. Sounds so corny but seriously this wasone of the best days of my life. Me any my friend went to see Robbie Williams a couple of years ago in Leeds and OMG .... incredible. We were 6 rows from the front and I just didn't want it to end. Love him or hate him he is an amzing performer ..... I, of course, love him .... enjoy

Just Magnolia #1 / Stamp Something

JUST MAGNOLIA

Wooooohooooo!!!!!! Oh boy oh boy, it is 8am and time for the very first ever challenge on Just Magnolia . I have been looking forward to today all week and so have lots of you too judging by all our wonderful followers ... thankyou so much.

We have a wonderful sketch to follow created by our very own Donalda , I just love sketches and this is one I will use over and over - thanks hun!

As you can see I have rotated the sketch to suit my image .... isn't Tilda so sweet with her basket of flowers! I have coloured her with prismacolor pencils and blended her using Sansador and paper stumps. All my papers have been printed using the Bearly Mine Designer Extreme Vol 1 CD. My MSDP has had a good workout again and making their debut on my blog is one of my new ticket stamps and also my new SU ribbon!

I have used glitter chalk around the edges of my image to soften it and to add a little sparkle too. All finished off with some matching Prima flowers. My colours were inspired by a card my fellow DT member Kim made recently - I just fell in love with it.

A simple insert made to compliment the card, getting good at doing these at the same time as I make my cards now :o)

STAMP SOMETHING

Wow, another week already and that means another brilliant challenge on Stamp Something . A great theme this week ........ COLOUR COMBO .......

YELLOW, BLUE & GREEN

The hardest part of this card was chosing my backing paper but once I had that sorted the rest was easy!!!! Seems a long time since I used my cutie stamp from Whiff of Joy but he seemed perfect for my card. Even dusted off my swiss dots embossing folder, must use this more than I currently do because it is so easy and gives a lovely effect. Nesties in abundance as always, how did I manage without them!

Also loving my EK Success punch that I bought at Harrogate - another really useful purchase!

I am so excited I may just spontaneously combust!

Why?????? Well I am sooooooooo glad you asked. Life in Marcea-land is pretty nice tonight let me tell you! Ok, not everything is perfect ... I started back at the gym this week to try and restore a little balance in my life and my poor muscles are paying the price but who cares because in 8 hours something wonderful is going to happen!

What you may ask .... to which I reply .... WHERE HAVE YOU ALL BEEN!!!!

Oh yes, those of you in the know will be almost as excited as I am about the very first challenge on Just Magnolia . If that is not enough just wait until you see the prize for this special occassion. One lucky person who enters is going to win a mammoth prize .... it is HUGE!!!!!! I almost wish I wasn't on the DT so I could be in with a chance of these fabulous goodies.

Now, you would think my day could not get any better .... WRONG!!!! You see, I have been very quiet this week and that is because I have been busy making samples for Lili of the Valley . They have a show tomorrow on Create and Craft at 11am and my cards are going to be on the telly! OMG I can't believe it!! gutted I am at work but my sky box is set to record it - what a day!!!!!!

Dare U 2 Digi #2

Happy Easter everyone ... have you eaten all your eggs yet? Not one drop of chocolate has passed my lips .... yet (plenty of time left though, lol).

I have had chance to play - woohoo and join in a challenge for a change :o)

This week on Dare U 2 Digi they want some bling .... how easy for is that, lol. You have to use a dowloaded image and this little guy is perfect. I dowloaded him a couple of weeks ago from here and think he is so cute.

Sorry for the terrible piccies, but if you eat lots more chocolate it should help them look better, either that or you just won't be bothered any more, lol.
