CC Challenge and Got to Dance

 

 

Afternoon folks, how is the start of your week? I am off until Thursday night and I am enjoying my time making DT samples which you should all see in a couple of weeks. We have been teasing lots of people on Facebook about what the launch is going to be but noone has guessed yet. All I can say is it is something brand new from Crafter’s Companion and it will be Pick of the Week on Create and Craft from the 28th September. Watch out for sneak peeks coming soon.

It has been an exciting weekend too because my lovely friend Gemma was in London auditioning for Got To Dance. The audience really loved her. You can see comments on the official FB page and it would be great if you could follow her on Twitter @gem2dance. The show isn’t aired until January so we are all keeping everything crossed for her.

Anyhoo,onto my card. It is one for this months challenge on Crafter’s Companion Challenge Blog and our theme is GOLD. A few of the DT are providing midway inspiration so pop over and join in the fun.

Here is a card I made for Sara to take over to Germany for her shows over there. I have only used the 6 Spectrum Noir pens from the yellow pack and a couple greys.

Simon Says … Kristina’s Inspiration

Hiya, me again. This time I am back with my DT card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. Our teamie Kristina has set  the theme this week using a gorgeous pic of her kitty and the design team are all using Basic Grey products.

I have used the gorgeous colours from the picture inspiration and coloured little Humphrey with my speccies (links below).

I have used papers from a couple of Basic Grey pads and also some Core’dinations … this card is just so lush.

Simon Says … Father’s Day Card / Male Card

Good morning – woohoo, summer has arrived …… and I am at work for 13 hours, sigh! Never mind, I have taken my skirt and t-shirt to wear on the way home hopefully and should hopefully enjoy a little sunshine with the roof down on the drive home. It looks like it is going to be a glorious week so I might enjoy a little sunshine on Friday and Saturday whilst I am off. Can’t complain though cos I had a lovely day off yesterday.

So back to the job in hand. It is Wednesday so we all knows that means a brand new theme on Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week it is one of those themes that we just don’t do often enough ……. we would love to see you make a male card or a Father’s Day card.

I have to admit to struggling with male cards. I do love my ribbons and flowers but for obvious reasons I have given them up for this week. However I am now thinking I could have added a nice ribbon and charm to my card – maybe next time. I still managed a bit of bling though hehe.

I am really fond of sweet Humphrey – this stamp is from the latest release and the link can be found below. I have put my copics to one side and coloured this cutie with my Spectrum Noir pens which Simon Says Stamp Online Store stock – go check them out, they are so reasonably priced!

Everything is Hunkydory

Afternoon, well here I am at last with a few cards to share with you. I am so lucky to be on the Crafter’s Companion design team for lots of reasons and I really do count my blessings. The other day I was sent some of these fabulous Hunkydory kits that feature the delightful Humphrey’s Corner. They are being launched at the moment on Create & Craft but you can also buy them from Crafter’s Companion website here.

Now I am pretty much a stamper through and through but OMG these are absolutely brilliant. The quality is stunning and the finish and foiling really gives a luxery finish.

It only took about 20 minutes to make all 3 cards – how good is that. They are brilliant for quick cards but you can also pinch the frames etc for your stamped cards too.

The final live show is on Create & Craft this evening at 6pm so be sure to tune in and get ordering!

Humphrey Sneak Peek

Hiya, sorry but it is a super quick post just now because I am about to dash off for work. I should have scheduled my post but there you go, I just wasn’t that organised.

Here is one of the fab new Humphrey stamps which are launching this weekend from Crafter’s Companion.

I love this little guy, I think we all do though.

He has been coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens. It is so easy to colour Humphrey and really takes no time at all.

The fab streamers are from the new Humphrey CD-Rom – it  is hard to believe they are printed – they look so realistic. I have also used my Epiphany tool to make the little buttons. Promise to add links later.

Right, I told you it was a quickie. See you tomorrow with more sneaks. On Sunday I will also be showing you a fab kit I have been sent to play with – OMG it is LUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brand new Humphrey’s Corner stamps & CC challenge midpoint reminder

Good afternoon, I am so excited to be able to share a brand new stamp from Humphrey’s Corner with you all today by Crafter’s Companion. There is a new release this Saturday on Create & Craft at 11am so make sure you don’t miss the live shows. There are 12 new stamps and OMG they are amazing!!!!! There is also a fab CD-Rom for the whole year crammed full of delish images, card companions, decoupage, toppers, embellishments and loads more!!!

So here is one of the stamps – isn’t it just gorgeous! Sally Hunter has really outdone herself with her designs yet again.

I have used Neenah card to stamp on and my image is coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens. I still love the turquoise shades the best I think.

The papers are printed from the Humphrey’s Corner Crafting Collection double CD-Rom pack which came out last year from Crafter’s Companion. The sentiment comes with the image and there are a couple of other fab ones that come with it too.

Hello ho ho …… sorry, couldn’t resist but it is the festive season and I am starting to feel all Christmassy …. well I will do soon. My card is made using the super cute Humphrey’s Corner die cut decoupage which is so quick and easy to use. I have also used the Collall Glue Gel which is perfect for decoupage and gives fab dimension and no horrid smell like some other glues can.

Birdie Friend ……x

Hi there, me again and this time I have a really gorgeous new image to share with you all. I have just fallen in love with this sweet image by Crissy Armstrong. Here is this months DT card for Sundays with Crissy – our theme is Friendship!

This little beauty is called Birdie Friend and is available from Whimsy Stamps. 

Isn’t she adorable!!!

The gorgeous papers are Summer Breeze by First Edition and are as sparkly as you can get ….. scrum! The little sentiment is by Whiff of Joy and seemed perfect for this image. I was very brave and stamped it on after I had coloured the image ….. thank goodness it was straight!
