Good morning, sorry I am late with my post today but it is a sad day for me. My son would have been 18 years old today - I can't believe it is almost 11 years since he died :o( We have been to the florists to collect his flowers but they were not ready so I am going back soon to collect them
so we can take them down to the cemetry.
Now onto happier things and look at these little mice. They really make me smile, they are just so delightful. This is for this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge and our theme is ....
HEARTS DESIRE
I have followed the sketch on this weeks Sketch and Stash and I have used these gorgeous Pink Petticoat papers that I had forgotten all about. SCSC theme is also hearts and flowers so would be a shame not to enter :o) Think I may have gone a bit heart mad, lol .... they are everywhere but hey, too late now :o)

Oh Marcea, I'm so sad to hear this! It doesn't matter if it is 1, 11 or 21 years, it still must hurt. I didn't get the chance to be a mum and that hurts too but I think it's not to compare with loosing your child! I admire your strenght, your sweetness and kind personality. You're in my heart!

I'm thinking of you on this special day for you. To remember your Son and the good times you had with him. Taken at such a young age for anyone to deal with is hard, but you have your family and your wonderful mum Nicola to be your rock :) I hope you and your family have a nice day today, remembering him and the times you had. I know it will be a sad day too as your mourn for your loss. I will be thinking of you!

your post has brought tears to my eyes, to know how much pain you feel for Mikey 11 years on. It's only three years since my son Flynn died and I think it will always feel raw and like yesterday.
I just wanted to send you a gentle hug and to let you know I'm holding you close in my thoughts.
Tonight a little candle will burn in our house for Mikey on his 18th Birthday. I hope he's having fun and getting up to mischief where ever he is!

marcea hunnie thinking of you today as your precious son is watching over you on his birthday. Its the hardest thing for us mums to have to go through in our lifes but not many of us either can say we have a precious angel child either who we love so dearly. I'm speaking from the heart hunnie only cos i lost my still born son 4 years next month so i can feel your loss totally. take it gently hun let me know if you ever want to chat...it does help at times i know cos they are our children and part of our lifes forever xxxx
