Hello everyone, well can you believe it is time again for another challenge on La-La Land Crafts and this one might make you shudder if you are as chicken as I am ......
DISTRESSING!
The very word makes me break out into a cold sweat. I am afraid I could not bring myself to rip up my papers, I just can't do it so instead I have chosen some distressed looking papers. But ..... to try and redeem myself I have made this rather lovely flower following a tut by my gorgeous buddy Rach and it can be found here . Imagine having to punch your papers and then having to crumple them up - OMG I think I need to have 5 minutes in a darkened room to compose myself, lol.
The stamp I used is Rosie with Bird (minus the little birdie ... oops, sorry!
A closer look at my distressed flower ..... I am still trying to recover from the experience but should hopefully be fully recovered by next week!!!!!
My card fits with these challenges too..

You are as bad as me. Everytime I think about distressing a piece of paper I have go lie down. Your card is fabulous and so is your distressed flower. Hope you are getting back to normal.

Ooh that flower is awesome Marcea and I am like you - simply can´t tear any gorgeous papers. Fabulous colouring and layout and boy do I need those nesties. Hopefully you are not too distressed now rofl. xxx

Gorgeous card Marcea. Lovely flower - I watched the tut when Rach put it up and must say, I've gone and bought a stampler to have a go at some point when I get chance. Love the effect. Your card is a dream, Little Rosie is looking so cute!

Know how you feel, it already hurst me to cut the beautifull papers. Don't have to think about crumpling (is that correct English???) them.
