My first card with my copics

Good morning, guess what arrived yesterday lunchtime ..... woohoo, my lovely set of 72 copics that's what!!!!!! I actually cuddled them (how sad, lol) but I don't care cos I am so excited to finally have some. Saving my pennies for the other 72 (and all the other shades in the sketch range).
So, I have made a card - couldn't wait to play :o) This is my first attempt with them and I am fairly happy - there were no tears so that was a bonus.

I think I am going to love them once I get the hang of them so please be patient with me over the next few weeks if my cards look total rubbish. I am determined to master these beauties. I have managed to combine a few challenges so it is nice to be able to play along for fun.
Whiff of Joy - Brown and Pink
My Time To Craft - Christmas
Our Creative Corner - Christmas in August

A closer look at my mistakes, I am still pleased with it though :o)
Right, off for a Starbucks (I know it isn't Wednesday!!) then maybe a bit more colouring when I get home. Hope you all have a really lovely Sunday!

If I didn´t know better Marcea I wouldn´t believe this was your first attempt with Copics. I am in awe of your creation. The colouring and shading is gorgeous and your papers so pretty. This is such an adorable image and you have really done Willow justice.
Me finks I may just order these tomorrow before I fly back to UK so I will have them in time to bring back. See there you go spending my pennies for me again.
Love,
Mum xxx

Morning Marcea, I dont think its going to take you long to get the hang on those copic pens, but be warned they are very addictive once you need the different shades, and expensive. Anyway my love youve created a beautiful card and the colouring is absolutely stunning. WEll done with love and hugs Shirleyxxxx

First of all, I don't think you could make rubbish! You have mastered those Copics from Day One! This card is gorgeous, Marcea! By the way, if you want to know more about Copics, learn from the guru herself, Marianne Walker at www.ilikemarkers.com. Enjoy!
