Sewing machine advice

Happy Saturday everybody. I am after a bit of advice. I am looking at getting a sewing machine to use on my cards. I do not want to spend much on it. Can anyone recommend one please?

Thanks so much xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

oh I got one from my local Pound stretcher, not the cheapest but the middle range one and it works fine, did not want to spend too much in case I did not get the hang of it, but this way at £55 I can use abuse and if I get on with it can always then buy something better

You could always look in the smaller repair shops for sewing machines sometimes they sell older models cheaper and used ones :)

Hi I would recommend a Brother sewing machine they last forever and are easily maintained a basic model is all you need ;0) x

I do not have one yet but I have heard fabulous things about the Janome. They are light weight and compact but do a fabulous job by what the gals over at Splitcoaststampers forum say. When I get the extra money that is what I am getting. :o)

My mum bought me mine last year for my 30th - I think she thought it was time I did my own mending :P... It's a Janome, they are nice and light, and mine's fairly basic I think, but has a good range of stitches and is really easy to use ... good luck :)
