This week on PBSC we have a fabulous skeych by Domi to follow and it is fab!!! Thanks sweetie, I love it! I was wanting to make my snowflakes out of acetate and sprinke with diamond dust but soon found out my punches wont cut acetate - looks like I need to invest in some snowflake dies, lol.

A closer look at this sweet little guy! Hope you all manage to join in - Penny Black AND a sketch - what a wonderful combo :o)

Just Magnolia

Good morning, hasn't it been a lovely short week at work thanks to the Bank Holiday! I can't believe it is time again for another challenge on Just Magnolia . Sorry for all the problems with Mr Linky last week, he is really playing up so this week just leave your links to your cards in the comments box on the JM blog please.

So this week we want to see ANIMALS & INSECTS on your cards. Don't worry if you do not have any magnolia images with these on. You can use other stamps, peel offs, die-cuts or embellies - just remember to include at least 1 magnolia image though too. I have used this lovely image and gone for a nice neutral colour scheme. I have kept it very simple but I do like it :o)

This fabulous die cut was sent to my by my lovely friend Susie ... thanks sweetie! Be sure to check out the other cards by the DT - they are fabulous as always. Get well soon Martine - hope you are feeling better today hun :o)

Inspirational Card Sketches #18

Good morning, back to work again after the extended weekend but it is my day off tomorrow so I am sure I will cope, lol. It is a sad day today for me because this is my very last card on the DT for ICS . On the plus side it means I can now enter this fab challenge!!!

Dawn has come up with what must be my favourite sketch so far!! I have rotated it to create this wonderful shaped card. (Piccies are a bit poor due to terrible lighting ... sorry)

I first saw a card like this last year and always wanted to make one - thanks Bev for the inspiration .... always knew I would get round to it eventually!

A closer look at Miss Anya ' Shine' - she certainly looks ready for summer with her cute outfit and shades!!! You can get the new 'Miss Anya' stamps from Tracy at Dies To Die For . If you want the chance to win a set then pop back on my blog tomorrow for details!!!!

Rather late PBSC and Monday Melody!

Hi hunny, I'm home, lol. We got back in at 1.30 this morning after a hectic weekend in Cambridge. The band played absolutely fabulous and most people had them in the top places but alas was not meant to be. Two of the judges loved them but one decided to mark them down saying they were not loud enough in places - despite being published previously stating too many bands tend to play the piece too loud - you can't please some people. Not to worry, they came away with their reputation in tact after producing a really wonderful performance of an incredily difficult test piece.

Onto my card .... well the theme is 'Buttons Galore' although I expect you all know this by know, lol. I am sorry I didn't get my card up on my blog on time ... naught Marcea!I just HAD to use this great PB image .... buttons just go so well with it, lol.
Well, I shall leave you with a little tune on this sunny Bank Holiday Monday - what a gorgeous day it is! Just had this blasting out my radio in my little MG with the roof down .... does life get any better????? The one and only delish Robbie!!!!

Stamp Something / Just Magnolia

Good morning, time for our last blogoversary challenge on Stamp Something and this week we are honouring Emily . Over her time on the DT Emily has produced lots of wonderful sketches for us so this week it is a sketch challenge. There is a sketch to follow on the SS page or you can use any of Emily's old sketches if you prefer.

I decided to use an old favourite of mine and followed this fabulous sketch from earlier this year.

A closer look at this adorable SN image, she is definately one of my favourites and has the sweetest of faces. I have used my chalk around the edges again and I do like this look, especially when I do not mat and layer my image. Have a look at all the other lovely creations by the DT and remember to pop over to Emily and wish her well as she prepares to leave us :o(

Are you all ready for a challenge???? Wow, this sure challenged me this week and I was tearing my hair out, lol. This week on Just Magnolia we want to see you all
Get in shape!

Don't panic, you don't have to get your trainers on head down to the gym. No, we want to see some fabulous shaped cards please. That's right - no boring old square cards allowed! I have used this lovely template that is available from our sponsors this week, The Cutting Cafe' . It is a really cute size and perfect for cute little Tilda with her lamb.

I have picked my colours from the flowers on the paper and kept it all very simple. It is only a small card but I still managed to fit 4 flowers on, lol, and could have managed more but I restrained myself. I have used a lovely angel charm to finish. The image just made me think of 'The Lord is my Shepherd' so that is why the little angel is there - watching over Tilda.

Lili of the Valley ... a sketch/sneak peek!

Good morning, it seems like ages since I last posted but it is only a couple of days ago. I have been so busy getting all my DT cards made because I am away all weekend - will tell you more tomorrow :o)
Can you believe it is time for another challenge on LOTV and we have a brilliant sketch by Jo to follow - love this Jo, it is great! Remember you can combine your challenges and we do not mind if you do not use LOTV products. We all love sketches so I hope to see lots of you joining in!

I have used a brand new product from LOTV - so new you can't even buy it until tomorrow. This little cutie is called Bluebell and is from the Farmyard cuddles set. The papers and sentiment are also included in the set and it is HUGE and fabulous value for money. There are other sets including mermaids, monsters and jungle too plus a sketches pack which you can colour yourself. Hmmm little Bluebell looks a bit of a wonky donkey, rofl, but I promise it must be the camera angle, hehehe.

This is just such a sweet image - I love it!! The sets will be launched on Create and Craft tomorrow and details of the show times can be found here . Unfortunately the shop on LOTV site is closed until the end of June but you can purchase these beauties from Create and Craft.
I hope to see lots of you joining in - there is a great stamp up for grabs for one lucky person and remember you have 2 weeks to make your card.
Have a lovely day!

Just Magnolia #5 / Stamp Something

Good morning my lovlies .... how are you all today? Excited that it is Friday? You should be because we have another fabulous challenge for you today on Just Magnolia. We have a fabulous sketch to follow by our very own Naoual and it is a beauty!!! I love sketches and this is just fab - you are going to want to use it over and over!

I have to say that this is one of my favourite cards I have ever made. Now this is quite a moment for me to like my own card - you know we are our own worst critics!! But you know what, it just came together so easy. These gorgeous BG papers were just what I wanted for this great sketch.

I love how it looks like little Tilda is running happily to see that special someone she loves. As if an unexpected visit from her favourite friend - so adorable. I have masked the flowers onto Tilda to create this lovely meadow using my WOJ stamp and the little butterfly is from a Messy Rabbit set. I had great fun and think I may have discovered a new favourite colour combo too!
I am so sorry I have not commented very much this week. My sore tooth paired with mine and my husband's birthdays have meant I have not had as much time online. Promise to do better next week :o)
-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

Here we are again, another week closer to my wonderful DT friends leaving us on Stamp Something and this week we are honouring Lauren . The theme is 'thankyou somethings' and we want you to make it clean and simple, using the gorgeous lines and styles that Lauren is so well known for.

First of all apologies forthe poor piccie - this will be rectified as soon as I get chance for a daylight photo (edited .... sort of). Now, this is as clean and simple as I get, lol. No flowers and no embellies (apart from the sneaky card candy). I have kept my colours to a minimum and concentrated on matting and layering my image to create it as the focul point of my card.
Hopefully my new piccies will show this fab glitter flock that I used for the PP sheep. It looks so fab in real life - really textured and sparkly too! I can see this featuring onlots of my christmas cards this year!
I have also used my swiss dots folder - a real favourite on Laurens creations - nice to have a little bit more interest :o)
