Music Saves My Soul Saturday #4 ..... on a Sunday ...oops

Hi,so sorry I am a day late - I had a very busy day yesterday at work - flu clinic!! Totally shattering but a necessary part of my job - you would not believe how many injections I gave.

So onto Music Saves my Soul ........ on a Sunday???

I was going to choose something more upbeat but was out very very late (or is that early) so have opted for a gentler song. I haven't heard this for ages ..... Ricky Martin ... yum lol

To play along please post the picture of 'Music Saves My Soul' to your sidebar and link it to my blog to help spread the word. If you could then share your video on your blog and link it to the blue frog below that would be fabulous. I will draw this months winner on the first Saturday of next month ... good luck!!!!! Off to get a lovely cuppa x

Just Magnolia - 2x2

Hi everyone, Friday again can you believe and boy what a busy week I have had! Ryan heads off to London today to play in the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow - I can't believe it will be his 3rd time there at the age of 17, we are so proud of him. Needless to say my life has been spent up making extra trips to band every night for the past couple of weeks. In between this I have had work and DT cards to make - boy could I use some extra hours in the day, lol.

So, that's what I have been up to but now it is time to have a look at my DT card for this weeks Just Magnolia which is 2x2 .... so let's see you fabulous creations! I would also just like to welcome a brand new teamie ... Claudia Rosa .... wow, she makes the most stunning cards, you must pop over to her blog and say hi :o)

So as you can see I have 2 butterflies, flowers, papers, sentiments and groups of pearls.

I am loving my new Basic Grey papers. Very different colours for me but they are gorgeous. These are from the Capella 6x6 paper pad.

Hmmmm, must be in a green and orange mood this week - very different for me :o)

Ta-da!!!! Finished. I hope you can join us this week. Don't forget to check out the rest of the DTs cards for inspiration - they are all fabulous as usual!

Lili of the Valley - Autumn

Morning, I am still obsessing about the weather - it is really odd at the moment. Showers then sun. I have just heard we are in for a mini heatwave at the weekend - we will see, lol.

This week on Lili of the Valley we have gone with a seasonal them and want to see your autumn creations - it is up to you how you interpret this :o)

I have opted for lovely warm shades that are associated with autumn. I think the colours work really well with this image - mind you she looks fab in every colour combo I think. You can buy her on the website here. I found these fabulous papers that I have hardly ever used - aren't they pretty! Gonna pack them away again now for a little while.

Music Saves My Soul Saturday #3

Morning my lovelies. Sorry I am a little bit late with my post this week - I was out with the girlies last night ... say no more :o)

I can't believe it is the third week already. I am loving all the songs you are choosing. I am finding it really hard to choose my favourite so I have decided that I am now going to put all the songs into a monthly draw and send a bigger candy instead of choosing a weekly winner. So .... if you enter every week you have a better chance of winning a little something scrummy from me.

My choice this week is a real old favourite of mine. I love Robbie and this song is called Karma Killer and is from a very old album of his. I love it - you really need the volume turned up loud to enjoy it to it's full. The strings are brill!!!!!

To play along please post the picture of 'Music Saves My Soul' to your sidebar and link it to my blog to help spread the word. If you could then share your video on your blog and link it to the blue frog below that would be fabulous. I will draw this months winner on the first Saturday of next month ... good luck!!!!!

Pop back later to find out who won my candy from last week.

Just Magnolia and some INCREDIBLE news!!!!!!

Hi, oh what a windy yucky day it is here today in Yorkshire, It is the sort of weather that makes you want to sit in and craft all day. Unfortunately I have to go to work but never mind, I am going out with some gorgeous girlies for drinks tonight :o)

It is time for the special monthly challenge on Just Magnolia - and it is completely up to you what you make. As usual we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp with a very generous prize - pop over to the challenge blog for more details. I am using the monthly challenges to try try something new - it is so easy to stick doing what you always do. I have made this sweet book mark which I found in the resources section in Split Coast Stampers.

Little Tilda is sat here wondering when on earth you will finish reading that page hahaha ....this just slips over the page, such a nice twist on a book mark. You can find the tutorial how to make it here..

Short and sweet again from me - make sure you check out the DT creations - there are some really amazing things to drool over ... as usual.

....... ok now for my good news. I nearly fell off my chair yesterday when I got an email asking me if I would like to join the Design Team for Crafter's Companion. Now, did I have to think about that ... err not for a split second. Of course my answer was a huge YES. OMG I am in complete shock but totally over the moon. I cannot wait until I can start playing with their fab products and share some work with you. I am still pinching myself - wow oh wow, little old me :o)

Have a wonderful day xxx
