Who wants a jewellery challenge blog?

Hi everyone, I am so excited about this post. I recently took up making jewellery and although there are hundreds of challenge blogs for card making, I could not find any for jewellery.

Soooooo, I decided to set up a brand new challenge for all the bead addicts out there. It is called Beading Friends Forever and we have a fabulous design team!

I am so happy because Beads Direct have agreed to sponsor the challenge each month.

There will be 2 parts to the challenge - a theme and also a pattern/tutorial.

Good morning and here I am at last …. better late than never. Sorry I am a couple of days late with my card. The theme on Simon Say Stamp Challenge Blog this week is to paper piece. Where’s Washi?

 

Brrrrrr, good afternoon. Oooh it is ever so chilly here in Yorkshire today and we still have snow on the ground from the past couple of days. I chose the perfect week off work I think cos I can just stay in and craft … which is just what I am doing!!!

Wednesdays always bring a brand new challenge for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge and this week it is  …..

USE WASHI TAPE

I have to say we are getting quite creative with the stuff now. Pop over to the challenge blog for more inspiration. Can you find my washi tape?

Lol, well I stuck several rows under each other onto brown card and then punched out the hearts ….. how cool!! I was trying to think of a way to use it without just sticking it as a border etc … so what do you reckon?

I had so much fun making this card and I think I have found my love for paper all over again. One of my favourite stamps ever, ever, ever!!!! I have been all inky and even had messy fingers … gasp!!!Can I also say to anyone who wants to distress their images/papers with inks …. you really do need cut & dry foam and a glass mat, it makes life so much easier as I have discovered   - seriously, where have I been rofl!!!!! Swarovski love

Hey there, happy weekend. I thought I would share a bracelet I made a couple of days ago using scrummy Swarovski crystal beads and beautiful crystal bicones.

Isn't this just so pretty. I found the pattern on the internet and I am so pleased with how it turned out. I really love using Swarovski products because they are just stunning to work with.

Here is a close look at the clasp. It is amethyst and rhinestone and just sparkles away so pretty in real life.

I bought everything to make this from Beads Direct .... my new favourite place in the whole world lol xxxxx

A sparkly new year!

Hi everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Wow, 2013 already, where has last year gone to? Here is my first crafty project of the new year. It is my DT sample for Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog and this week we would love to see anything new at all.

Haha, so maybe I took the idea of new too far …. here is my diary for a brand new year!!!! I thought I would bling up my boring old diary. I am really going to try lots of different crafty things this year so it was kind of cool not making a card.
