A little update .... I am still here

Hi everyone, just to let you all know I am still around but I have some family stuff going on that is taking up some of my time compared to usual. I hope to be back crafting in a couple of weeks xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

CES Challenge GDT with a little sprinkle of sugar!

Good morning, woop woop it is the weekend at last and I am so thrilled to be guest designer for the next few weeks for CES Challenge Blog. I was over the moon when my good buddy Emma asked me to take part with them. This week the theme is Forever Autumn and you can interpret this how you like. It was a great chance for me to play with some images that I haven't used in so long .... I had so much fun!

I have inked up this old Sugar Nellie stamp - god I love her. I really enjoyed colouring her and it made me realise that although I love being on DTs sometimes it is lovely just to chose and image that you want to, regardless of who makes it. So here is my guilty pleasure for this week!

Just Magnolia

Hiya, ooh this is becoming a habit isn't it ... dragging my heels again. I really do not have enough hours in the day .... wonder if I can give up work lol???? Probably not :o(

So it is time again on Just Magnolia for our special monthly challenge. As you may already know we decided a couple of months ago to open it as anything goes with an optional extra. This month you can add beads to your project if you like (or if you are like me .... flat back pearls, lol ... oops)

Hi, oh it is an exciting day today for Lili of the Valley - not only are we at the NEC but the newest stamps are also on sale there .... right now!!!!Don't worry if you cannot make it, these beauties will be on sale online next week.

Simon Says ... All White

Good morning, wow it is so dark here today and rain is on the way I think a crafting day is in order!!! This week on Simon Says Stamp we would love to see your card being all white apart from your image. Lots of the DT are using the fabulous images by Lili of the Valley, which I love to death!

I have coloured this beautiful image with my copics and added some fun flock to the fur trims. Loads of stickles to the ice for that extra sparkle. The background has been embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder and then I added extra sparkle with some spray glitter - fab IRL!!!!. It is ages since I used my dew drops but I love the way they look around the scalloped border. Pretty lace, a flower and some Magnolia gem crystals to finish!

losing my marbles!!!!

Oh dear, where is my head!!!! Was going through my blog and I have just realised I didn't post my card for last weeks Just Magnolia challenge - what a ninny!!! So here it is .......

We had a gorgeous sketch to follow. I am loving this colour combo ....... so subtle.

I have had these papers forever I think but was nice to dig them out again. You still have a couple of days to enter this weeks challenge so pop over to the blog and have a look at the rest of the cards by the DT - they are all fabulous! Off for a slob on the sofa, I feel completely shattered .... see you tomorrow xxx

Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge - DT Card

Morning, November already - wow, how did that happen? A new month means a new challenge with Crafter's Companion so I hope you can all find a little time to join in. We have a fab sketch to follow with the theme ' One for the girls'. The rules changed recently which means you do not have to use an image by Crafter's Companion but if you do then your name will be entered twice for the draw!

I really adore this stamp called 'with sympathy' from the new SWALK release and the papers are from the new SWALK CD too. This card could be sent for many reasons but it seems to work for those cards when you want to let someone know you are thinking about them for whatever reason. 

Make sure you pop over to the Crafter's Companion website for all your new products and old favourites and don't forget to keep an eye on the News, Views & Inspirations blog too for lots of crafty ideas.
