Just Magnolia - A sketch

Morning, what a dreary day it is today - looks like autumn is back again. But .... it is Friday and that is fab because not only is it the end of the working week for lots of us it is also time for another challenge on Just Magnolia. We have a really easy sketch fo you all to follow this week so come on, no excuse - join in the fun!

How beautiful are these papers. OMG it hurt to cut them but I am glad I did. They are by Kaiser Craft and from the Gypsey Sisters 6x6 pad. Talk about lush = the pack has flocked, glittered and glazed papers - no wonder I needed to lay down after cutting them!!!!

I have also made Tilda a brunette - something I don't usually do cos I am scared of change but I am glad I had a go ... more practice is needed I think, lol.

Challenges

A Spoonfull of Sugar - Anything Goes
Crafts & Me - Easels
Flutterby Wednesday - All winged things
Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes

Another brownie point for me for yet another easel card - I am so impressed with myself for keeping them going. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to join in my 'Music Saves My Soul' challenge - there is a new one every Saturday so you still have chance to join in ....... click the button at the top right of my blog.

Music Saves My Soul Saturday #1

Morning, I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the weekend. I have decided to bring you something a little different today. I don't know how many of you remember that I used to post a song on my blog every Saturday morning many moons ago. Well, yesterday a very lovely blogging buddy reminded me of this and so I have decided to start a new little thing for fun.

I absolutely love music and cannot imagine life without it. I love all types of music and so each week I will post a song that I have in my head or one that I just feel like sharing. I would love it too if you could do the same on your blogs .... we can all spread a little fun and happiness to each other. I have to share the one and only Lady GaGa for my first post cos I love her sooooooooooooo much!!!!!

To play along please post the picture of 'Music Saves My Soul' to your sidebar and link it to my blog to help spread the word. If you could then share your video on your blog and link it to the blue frog below that would be fabulous. I will send a little candy to my favourite song each week. Fingers crossed you play along with me :o)

I actually managed to cut into my new papers on the very same day I bought them - how distressing. Love these pretty colours though. It is also the first time I have used this gorgeous stamp 'Christmas Candle' by Lili of the Valley - what a perfect image for any little girl at Christmas. Lots of gorgeous blooms too from Wild Orchid Crafts and Crafty Feeling.

Totally Papercrafts - Let's go Dotty

I have pinched the brilliant idea of adding a little tag for a place to add a personal message from the mega talented Rach - such a lovely lady with more talent than is fair!
