Stamp Something

Good Morning, in fact ... Good Friday to you all. I hope you are all having a great day so far and perhaps enjoying the Bank Holiday :o)

It is time for another great challenge on Stamp Something and this week we want to see different shapes.

I decided not to make a shaped card but instead have added different shapes on my card. I have used the fabulous Miss Anya from Dies To Die For and she has been cut with one of the many great shaped nesties. There are also circles, scallops, rectangles and little hearts on my card too ... not forgetting the wonderful swirls with my new punch from The Hobby House.

If you enter this week you could win this stamp which I have donated as this weeks candy. It is Sugar Nellie's 'Porridge' and is a really difficult to get hold of now so for a chance to win remember to link your card to Mr Linky.

A final close up of my card. Am loving my spacers at the moment and also these gorgeous paper roses which were a steal from The Range at only 99p for 28 roses ... stocked up on these, lol!
Enjoy your long weekend everyone and I will be back tomorrow witha brand new challenge from Penny Black.
Stamp: Miss Anya
Papers: Basic Grey 'Euphoria'
Tools: Nesties, EK Success swirl punch, MSDP
Flowers: Poppicrafts and The Range
Embellies: Ribbon from The Ribbonbox, gems from stash, spacers

LILI OF THE VALLEY

Hi everyone, just got back from a great day shopping with hubby and another lovely lunch out - I sure could get used to being a lady of leisure! Got a lovely new handbag and also a fabulous new top - green silk ... total bargain from Monsoon. Hubby and I are going out for a drink or 2 this evening so shall be wearing it ... I love it so much (love him too, lol)!
Anyway, onto this weeks challenge from LOTV , we would like to see a bit of fun with your creations so get your thinking caps on and join in the fun.

Here is my card for this week - a very lovely friend sent me this image and sentiment, she is the queen of cupcakes and a lovely blogging buddy .... ta hunny, mwah!

Papers are a digi download, I bought some premium paper from Tescos and what a difference it makes for printing - will never use a lighter weight paper again!
I would also like to say well done to Claire and Lorraine for winning a place as Guest Designers for the next 8 weeks - love your blogs, welcome to the team!! A huge thankyou to everyone else who entered too, your cards were all fabulous!
Remember you have 2 weeks to enter your card for this challenge. Make sure you pop over to the other DT member's blogs for further inspiration.
Have a great Easter break everyone.

ABC I is for .....

Good morning to you all, I am half way through my week off and enjoying it soooooo much, too much ... wish i could stay home all the time :o)
I am meeting my friend for lunch later which will be nice - she is due her baby any day though so lets hope we make it to desert (priorities, lol).

And now for some sad news. Due to other committments I have made the difficult decision to leave ABC . I have loved my time here and it was my very first DT position so it will always be special to me. There is a brand new shiny DT member called Helen so please make sure you give her a really warm welcome.

I is for ...... INSIDE

So lets see you decorating the inside of your cards. Lots of you do this already so it should be easy for you all to join in. I have started this a little while ago now and i do love the finish it gives to my cards - I could never go back to a plain white insert now. I have used this sweet PM image and kept it quite simple. I picked up the lovely ribbon at Harrogate last week knowing I had to make a christening card.

My inside is quite simple, I have carried the colours through and focussed on the lovely daisies from the papers - you can never have enough flowers can you!

A closer look at the sweet heffalump. I have also discovered chalks ..... these are fab for colouring all that white space around your image. Got several sets from The PaperMill Shop in the sale. These ones are pearlescent although you can't see the sparkle in this piccie.
Have a wonderful day whatever you are doing.

We are lucky to have Fran as our guest designer this week on ABC and you really need to pay her blog a visit to see her beautiful creations. This week the theme is ......

HEARTS

I have gone for hearts everywhere ..... on the papers, my image and even on the sentiment!!

No diva tantrums with this card today but my mum now knows what a messy crafter I am ... everything has to come out! Mum and dad are now back in the sunshine in Spain and they enjoyed their little break back to the UK. Think mum will have to start saving for all the shopping that we will do on her next trip.

Hope you can all find time to join in - thanks for the continued support you give us each week - we do appreciate it and love visiting your blogs.

Stamps - Lelo Design Roses for You from Dies to Die For , Sentiment from WOJ
Papers - Basic Grey
Tools - Martha Stewart Doiley Punch (more MS punches for sale this week at DTDF)
Embellisments - flowers Prima and the roses are from The Range, BG brad

A big squidgy thankyou to Mrs Wonka for this lovely award ....

Thanks babe, you are such a sweetie.

Finally, I am such a blonde. I have just been telling darling hubby (and mum on the phone) about the snail showers that have been forecast for today - freek winds had lifted these little things up in the air from France and I read on Yahoo that they were due to fall to the ground over the UK this morning. Hubby just sat there laughing at me .... why ....... yep, it's April Fools Day - pity I didn't realise, gee I am gullable hahahahaha!
